I see nothing wrong with this... at least life in prison. I this man would have only served his full prison term. They let them out way too early!!

Why be proactive on this issue and work toward effective legislation that would close the "homeless" loophole when you can wait until after something so terrible happens and parlay in into a political opportunity? I say put the scum away but save me the sanctimonious political BS, please.

Amen. They do not deserve to live, no child should be harmed in any way sexualy, if you ask me they should hang child molesters on the town square in front of the whole town, like in the days when America had a back bone........

I would completely support the death penalty for repeat sex offenders.

We need a law that 3 time offeders are locked up for good. They need to start executing these people and get them off the daily food run. Of course our elected representives wont write the law, they use the FAMILY VALUES for there run for office. What a joke all of them are and you can add the judges to that.

I fully support a 3 strikes, you die law! Actually 2 strikes should be enough. Why did this person get out of prison so quickly before? Obviously rehabilitation did not work.

And I don't mean 10 years of sitting on death row pending appeals.

Three strikes, WHAT?? That means two more innocent children would have to suffer, I say death penalty the first time around. Finally a lawmaker who wants to do the right thing!

That is my question. If he got sentenced to 30 years, why is he out in 13? Our court system needs to be FIXED.

Once you hit level 4 inside you are given 44 days added to the 30 you just did for a total of 74 days a month toward your sentence.
Take NA/AA and complete it there is another 30 days off your setence. Get a GED and there is 90 days off of your sentence.
Every Con lives by and knows it very well.
They cant keep me here forever !
I know a guy who got life for manufacturing meth.
He went in in 2001 and he is up for parole September of this year.
He thought it was funny to say, a life sentence is dependent on whose life it is and whose counting. Funny guy and one I believe will do very well when he gets out. Clean that is.

The U.S. Supreme Court has already ruled on this issue.(No death penalty). And Rep Rex Duncan is aware of that fact. He is just jumping on this band wagon for political grand standing and it is a shame for ANY politician to exploit this child and circumstances for political gain.

Now, if Rep. Rex Duncan really wants to do something constructive, quit putting faith in a Tier system that does not work. It has not protected this girl and will not protect anyone. What it does is cost an enormous amount of money for absolutely "no protection" for anyone.

There is no "Individual Risk Assessment in Oklahoma." The law makers would rather put their faith in a Tier system in which 78% of Oklahoma's Sex offenders are on.

People who's crimes are 10, 15, 20 years or more who have never reoffend. Non-aggravated, non--habitual and teens for consensual sex.

Gus Blackwell is absolutely correct when he said, "The predators are hiding in the registry" Well, Rep Rex Duncan, What are YOU going to do about that.

Quit grand standing and exploiting this horrible incident and FIX this registry and Make darn sure that "INDIVIDUAL RISK ASSESSMENTS" are the rule.

This incident and many repeat sex offenses could have been avoided.

After all, "if it saves JUST ONE CHILD."
