Well like everything else with this digital switch, losing the radio signal sucks as well. My question that I cannot seem to get answered by anyone is what happens when we lose power because of a thunder storm and cannot see the radar to know where the tornado is heading? Anyone?
Yes...as mentioned here before (although I thought it was common sense), tune to 740am KRMG or 1170am KFAQ. They are the local "news/talk" radio stations in Tulsa, and they both provide severe weather coverage.

I listen to the news several times a day. I drive alot for my job and when the weather is bad I know I can count on Trav and the gang to keep me safe. Is there ANY other way it can be done safely while I'm driving?

Please, please, please figure out a way to bring Channel 6 on the radio back. I have listened for years and it was a good way to catch Oprah when I was able to leave work early. I so miss Channel 6 in the car!!!!!

Correct. 107.3 is a low-power translator of KOSN-FM, located near Vinita, which is a full-power repeater of KOSU in Stillwater...OSU's public radio station.

As mentioned many times. KOTV's signal will never be simulcasted on radio. It never has been and never will be.

I couldn't figure out what happened to 87.7. I really miss news on 6 on 87.7 and I looked forward to listening on my way to work in the morning and after work. Listeners need that back.

Well I used to just be crazy about Dr. Phil but not so much anymore. His show is not the same as it used to be. I do agree with him often, but sometimes he is just too much!

I am really struggling to make it thru the work day without my Young and the Restless at 11am, Dr. Phil at 3pm and Oprah at 4pm!! I work in a production area and was able to drown out the noise around me and focus on work but now without 87.7 gone,I've ditched the headphones and my production as decreased.

We feel a sense of loss, something we enjoyed for years has been taken away. Listening to Channel 6 on FM 87.7 relieved the stress of being stuck in traffic on the drive home from a full day of work. If you had to stay late at work, no worry about missing the news, listen to Katie at 5:30 or the local news at 6:00. If early, listen to Oprah.

I like a whole half hour of Oklahoma news. Also, there is something about listening to the news that makes it a whole different experience from watching it. I felt like I was getting more done, multitasking, turning wasted commute time into time where I became informed.

On Saturday, coming back to Tulsa from a trip-on-a-tank-full we could listen to Discover Oklahoma at 6:30 and hear about more places to visit.
Surely there is a way to listen to DTV in the car. Is this not America, the land of technological innovation? Awaken; Edison, Westinghouse and Tesla, we need you!

Certainly there will be a way to listen to television on the radio in the future. However, you will need a new radio.
