I used to work for Decision One and Alorica. I was hired on by Decision One and it was a good job. Alorica took over and "streamlined" the company. They cut the benifits, pay, and any other perk. It quickly became a job that had high turnover and attracted a different type of worker.
I worked T1, T2, trainer and manager. I put in my time, but the job was continually worse. From what i last heard, the trainers were getting put back on the phones, a downgrade in position. I have also heard that Alorica was in jeopardy of losing the Sprint account and that the eastland call cntr might be closing. Anyone have info on this? |
Former TCIM emp. They are a joke try doing your job while the teen age drug user management crank up there boom boxes and have dance contest while you have clients on the phone .Then for low sales the punishment is no one came use the restroom and must stand up have your chairs taken away untill you get a sale while management goes out to the paking lot to smoke weed. the place is a zoo.I also worked for alloraca training was bad at best then your thrown out on to the phones dont expect any help from management there ownly answer is look it up on your computer and just let the cust.sit on hold |

Thats sounds about right. I know some may think this is over the top, but it's the truth. The parking lot was used for drug use, not just smoking weed, but alot of meth heads. I saw people taking bumps meth @ their desk even. The toilets were not cleaned all weekend long, overflowing with crap. Once Alorica took over from Decision One every corner was cut and employeed suffered on every front. Alorica prided themselves on never having a losing quarter, this was not because of the award winning money making strategies, but because they made employees suffer. |

hold your nose & roll up your pants legs.the place realy does stink.

I used to work for TCIM until they cheated on my commissions several paychecks in a row, so I quit and I am now drawing unemployment from them. |

I used to work for both TCIM and Decision one & had an interview for Alorica cityplex recently. Back when I was in high school & worked for TCIM (back in 2001) it was a mess back then as well. the middle of the main floor had a huge creak in it from a broken beam that supported the 2nd floor, & yes for low sales you had to STAND up back then too. It was hilarious when people peed their pants in protest...oh the good ol days.
When I was at D1- this was shortly before the sprint nextel merger....I had little complaints, my pay was AWESOME (10.50 per hour and more since I got off at 2am).My only issue was my sup that I couldn't stand...she had her favorites (mainly on her home team) and because my team's sup got fired we got treated like step children. After I got fired I didn't believe all the bad news about the goings on in Alorica....seeing this makes me believe it now....WOW. Anybody work in cityplex on the other tech support acct thats NOT with sprint? Thats the interview I had recently. |

I do have to admit, the comapany itself, Sprint is not an awful company to work for. However, Alorica in my opinion does not have the best hiring pratices. Also, trying to get workers comp from them ( my best friend was injured by the company equpiment,an office chair broke and stabbed her in the back, messing up her spin very badly. She weighs 110 lbs maybe soakeing wet, poor thing.) is next to impossiable even when it was clearly their fualt.

Hey you POS... Read more carefully MR trainer manager and wtvr the hell else you calim to be . I said "I heard they were losing sprint account, does anyone know anything about this?" I said "I heard Eastgate was closing, any info?" It's the people like you working there that make it such a shitty place to work. You don't read or listen, just spew irrelevant info. I was a trainer D1 and Alorica and everything in between. I wold have never been or wanted to be a manager there. The place smells and they treat employees like crap. I have tons of freinds still there and hate it, but need a job. What happened to their benfits??? What happened to all the bonuses? What happened to all those people that were promised to be pro-rated their raises from D1 to Alorica-IT NEVER HAPPENED and it ended up on the locxal news. LOL |

Furthermore I kniw for fact that trainers have been moved back to phones, and not because of job performancem but because that was their only chance to keep working.(The smart ones chose salary and not hourly, they stayed on as trainers) |
I think Alorica is about to do a massive retreat from the states and join the other companies that have handed their business over to India, Malasia, Phillipines, etc. I've heard that a location in Canada has closed or at least moved out volume for a major client. Also heard similar news about a Kansas location. Call volume is down, possibly rerouted so they can downsize the staff (or find reasons to fire people) to prepare for closing. Trainers ware gong back to the phones, a few lay offs. Things are not looking good. Sounds the same in Tulsa. Advise all your buddies to get that insurance for their credit cards that covers payments if they lose their jobs. I have a feeling it will pay off |

What downtown parking? The University Towers @ Oral Roberts or the olf Eastland mall now called Easgate (to hell) |
I think that says it all, because no matter how you look at it, BILLS MUST BE PAID! I worked at Sonic Drive-In not too long ago and was being paid minimum wage part time for the first two weeks and then they cut my pay to $3.13/h because I was supposed to make up the difference in tips. We reported our tips everyday. The management KNEW I was under quota and it didn't matter. I would rather make 9.50-11/h than be stuck in that kind of hell again. Especially answering the phone and not working so hard and fast I can't think straight. With the economy the way Bush aka Hitler left it I have seen Registered Nurses applying for positions at Stand By Personnell for unskilled labor positions that get paid minimum wage daily, so don't sit around on you conservative ass-monkey clouds thinking the job positions there are out there are anything close to PLENTIFUL! |
|
|
Judged: 1 1 The only registered nurses applying for manual labor jobs are the ones who can't pass a drug test, or who have otherwise had themselves blacklisted from the industry. Think stealing, PTO whores, drama queens, poor work ethic. So hows that whole Obama thing working out for you so far? |

I was called today by a recruiter for Alorica because they liked my resume on Monster.com . After reading all these horror stories I am glad I am getting hired at another company here in Tulsa.

I worked there and its not a collection company..The one I worked at was for att mobile accounts. We did billing info, payments, troubleshooting for cell phones...There were times I really liked it and times I didnt...you get yelled at ALOT,,,about things you cant fix for them and alot of them just want credits on the accounts..you have to explain their bills...prorated billing,,,combined bill...pay is great, at least for our area..you get paid more for the same job if you work for an actual att call center..the test you have to take is confusing..hope this helps...:) |

Worked there for 3 years, yeah I've got a LOT to say about them, but not on a forum, lol.
