Someone needs to say it to his parents. Someone needs to grab them and shake them and ask them why they failed on such a monumental level. My kids are success stories. I did not raise them the way Brandon was raised (or not raised). You reap what you sow and I have reaped many hard consequences for bad decisions but raising my kids as complete and utter failures is not one of them. If you're incorrigable, then you really have no place here in my opinion. You're just a tax on society and a threat to my family. I don't tolerate threats. Maybe the second coming incarnate, otherwise known as Obama, will transcend this world into a place where we can skip and whistle but until then, these kind of thugs need to go.

All I can say is good riddance. Brandon Hargrove was worthless and I hope he had time to reflect on his worthlessness before he left this earth. He did us an ecological favor by not wasting any more of our oxygen, not polluting us with any more of his carbon dioxide, and giving worms and maggots plenty to eat. I knew Jarret personally as a coworker and cannot for the life of me figure out why some panty waste like Brandon was allowed to get away with what he did. If you disagree, who cares. I was elated to find out that he was gone. Gleeful as a matter of fact. Screw him and his family. Brandon was the fisces of Society. As a society, we should be more careful what we eat. Some tirds don't smell as bad as this one did.
LOLOL! Amen. I couldn't have said it better myself! And I think A LOT of people were happy to hear Hargrove was gone! hahahahahahhahahaha!:)

you know, i would have hoped that i could come here to read and commment on important issues, not read some idiot starting rumors and gossip about the families who have already been through enough trauma, pain, and loss that they will have to live with for the rest of their lives. it is people like you that ruin lives without even a second thought for your own pleasure. get a life

Yes, your right it's people like the Hargroves and Wallens and Manzers who raise kids with no concept of right and wrong. They went around bragging on how they murdered Jarret. Now that's causing pain for a lot of people and they don't seem to even care how many lives they have impacted and crushed.
I really don't see anyones opinion on here that have ruined a life, they're just opinions.
The only thing that has ruined lives was the actions of Tony, Brandon, Courtney and Dayne when they murdered Jarret Clark. Yes, it is sad knowing these four heartless kids brought so much pain and disgust to their families.
Just think how much pain their actions brought to Jarrets family!

Courtney Lee Manzer? Age 19? DOB 7-13-89? Somewhere thru this blog, I recall seeing the name Courtney Manzer who is supposedly involved in the death of Jarret Clark. I've also seen in the BA ledger a Courtney Lee Manzer who was arrested 8/9 for burglary 2nd degree, auto. Is this the same Courtney Manzer? If so, she is certainly headed down a path of self destruction. First, involved in the death of someone and continues to lie about it, now up to no good stealing? Wasn't murder enough for her? She's even smiling in her mug shot.
www.tulsacounty.org (select jail info, inmate info, search database, then type in first and last name, click on details for her photo.(and what's up with that hair) It's my understanding that Jarret flirted with Courtney and a fight broke out, turning into 2 against 1(Brandon and Tony against Jarret). But, looking at Courtney's photo, I don't understand why Jarret (or anyone) would have been flirting with her to begin with. I'm guessing Courtney started flirting with Jarret and Brandon became jealous. A friend of mine went to HS w/Brandon Hargrove (before Hargrove dropped out) and told me Brandon had a temper when anyone talked or even looked at his g/f.

Looks like someone who would have no remorse for killing someone or getting them killed. Maybe she intentionally flirted and got him killed. Who knows the real truth til these spineless cowards come forward.

I pray for whomever has lost their life and is in pain. Friend nor foe it looks like all of you need prayers and some revival time!
I agree. God doesn't get revenge-that's ridiculous. I believe in karma to an extent, but I don't believe God causes it. He is loving, not spiteful. I didn't know Brandon H or Jarrett Clark but I know several people who did. I'm sure Brandon hurt a lot of people.I'm not saying I think he killed Jarrett or didn't but i know he must have done some bad things by all the stories I've heard. But regardless, he still has family & friends that love him very much. the pain and shock you all felt when Jarrett died is what Brandon's loved ones are feeling now & it's insanely disrespectful to trash him after he's gone. Let these people rest in peace. Let the courts decide who is guilty. I knew Matt Ennis. We dated in high school and we stayed friends. He was very special to me, and I cried for 3 days after it happened. I can't imagine how his family feels even now. I just want to tell them and the other familes I'm so sorry for your loss. Matt was an amazing person, and I wish I could have spent more time with him, but I guess it was his time to go and I believe he's at peace and is watching over us. I love you Matt!!

I think you have a low I.Q. to compare Jarrets murder the five day search, the cost, the anguish and what his family felt and is still going thru to what Brandon Hargroves family is going thru!
Jarret was murdered!! His life was stolen by Brandon. Jarret was loved by more people than even knew Brandon.
Brandon was a criminal, a thug he lead a life of harm and fear to try to act tough.
Jarrets family will continue to seek Justice.
Brandon Hargroves family is probably relieved he's gone and won't bring any more shame to them.

You don't need to insult me to get a point across. I wasn't comparing the situation, I was just saying that it is rude to bash him to his family when they are in a lot of pain already. What he might have done is not their fault. I agree that Jarrets family had to go through a lot more hurt feelings and anger, but coming on here and bad mouthing Brandon to his family is not helping the situation, it's just a temporary satisfaction to whoever is doing it.

I guess you still don't get it! You might not comprehend your own words, thus the I.Q comment. Brandon caused all of this pain and it's coming back to haunt him and his family. It's not about you it's about how Brandon was brought up with no respect for the law and what is right. You said it yourself how obvious it is that "Brandon hurt a lot of people". So...Yes that is exactly what I like to do, is to bring attention to Brandon Hargroves poor little heartless family. They even went as far as to talk about it on Mothers Day after they killed him, while Jarrets family was still searching. They were having Mothers Day dinner at Dana and Ron's house while Jarret was floating in 26 feet of water. Check out the old blog sites and you'll understand how heartless they all are!!

Brandon decided to kill Jarret but you, yes YOU feel it is for the courts to decide... now that is what I call insanely disrespectful because Jarret wasn't given that same opportunity when Brandon Hargrove, Courtney Manzer, Dayna Hargrove and Tony Wallen beat and drown him.

You said you cried for three days over Matt died, well just imagine what that would be like after two and one half years of lies from this Hargrove/Heginbitham family of criminal minded people bragging on how they killed Jarret and left him in the lake to die!

Give it a rest! What happened to Jarret was awful and the actions of Brandon and the others was despicable. But going around and insulting people for trying to sympathize is pretty horrible too and won't solve anything.

You try to demean someone for saying it is a matter for the courts to decide. Guess what? Your just making a fool of yourself. Like it or not it is a matter for the courts. If you disagree then why haven't you handled things yourself? It is that kind of talk that makes a person indistinguishable from certain low life thugs.

Getting to the truth is a long and painful process, but if justice is to truly be served you have to make sure you don't cross certain lines.

After reading all the post from friends and family members of both Brandon and Jarrett, one question still hinges in my mind...
Everyone seems to have known the 'characteristic and moral flaws' of the young man Brandon... According to the majority opinions in all of these post he (Brandon) was not worth the oxygen it took him to exist on this earth.. So why then, would such a young man as Jarret, depicted as near a Saint, accept an invitation to the lake with Brandon, his friends or the 'likes' of that crowd? I think in one post I saw where Jarrets mother said it was due to his 'trusting' nature that he went along... I am not certain I understand or can believe that. Either way it is terrible for BOTH families, the loss of lives so young saddens me. May they each find peace, truth and Justice for their loved ones.

Curious, I did say I felt Jarret went along because he was so trusting. I also feel he was enticed by Brandon and Courtney to go along. Who knows, since I've been told by classmates of Jarret's and Brandon's that Brandon was very jealous of Jarret in weightlifting; maybe Brandon had this planned all along and Courtney enticed him to go along. One of Jarret's close friends was suppose to have gone along too, but at last minute decided not to go. Jarret decided to still go. It's too bad and a shame that we can't ask him why he felt the need to go with them. All I know is, my son went to the lake with Brandon Hargrove and Courtney Manzer and didn't make it back home and we searched for 5 days and we know the results. His body recovered from the lake. I miss my son deeply and the hurt and pain I have will never ever go away. Just to let you know - time doesn't heal either; time only makes each day harder to face. He was my only child and I've been robbed of many things. I was looking forward to having a daughter-in-law & grandkids someday. Brandon nor anyone in that group notified me of any harm that my son might have been in. My conversation with Brandon on Sunday didn't go very well and since that conversation, I'm convinced 100% of foul play by Brandon and the other 3 with Brandon. Personally, it doesn't bother me that you don't/can't understand or believe he was too trusting. Question for you.. did you even know Jarret? And where did I say my son was a saint... there aren't any saints in the this world. I'm not a saint, are you? Sad part is, Jarret's life was taken by people who did harm to him on purpose and are getting away with it; Brandon died in a car accident. Big difference in murder vs car accident.

No Maam, I did not know of your son or the others mentioned in this case. I also did not mean any disrespect to you or anyone with my question, it was simply curiousity based off what has been read here alone and nothing else. I have not been blessed with a child/family yet as I am not old enough, so your correct in that I don't know the pain you have suffered and will continue to suffer, although I cannot fathom what you must be going through to have lost a loved one so young, especially your child.
You are a very strong mother and I wish you happiness and justice for your son.

I posted this earlier but received no response:

With so much talk about Jarret's death, no one has mentioned steps taken to remember his life. Has any of his friends who drink and may be under age vowed to stop in his memory, to honor him. Is there a support group setup for his family and friends who obviously need help dealing with their pain? If Jarret had hopes of going to college, is there a fund setup to help another reach their dream in his memory?

Still curious.

I am close friends with Jarrets parents.

Sooner, you must be SLOWER than most people and it sounds as if you think the world revolves around you. You sound too demanding as if a response was required!

Everyone close to Jarret is still participating in celebrating his life, maybe you missed the news and his Birthday Parties; 19th, 20th and the dozens of people involved so I'm guessing you didn't participate! The next one will be April 5th 2009.

You should already know there is a Memorial Fund for Jarret it's been in the news.

You should also know that Jarrets parents have talked to several local groups to bring awareness to how there are plenty of bad people in this world and you can't trust everybody, people like Brandon Hargrove and his partners in crime could be high on drugs, drunk and drown you for talking to a girl!

His parents are also involved with supporting Bob Colbert as a new Wagoner County Sheriff since he is actually qualified as a true law enforcement officer and Johnny Cannon never even took time to meet Jarrets parents. All Johnny Cannons group did was file a report and they didn't even call OSBI until the fourth day of the search then OSBI found him the next morning. It's time for a change in Wagoner County!!!!

Several of Jarret's friends are now well disiplined soldiers in the United States Armed Forces and are currently deployed in Iraq defending our country. If Jarret wasn't murdered by the scum like Brandon he too would have been a well disciplined soldier defending your right to voice your opinion. Jarret had a recruiter but was murdered by Brandon the week before he completed his enlistment paperwork and several of his friends enlisted in HONOR of Jarret.

The support group is a Grief Recovery Program sponsered and set up at Floral Haven should you decide to attend.

If you care to donate make a check out to the "Jarret Clark Memorial Fund" you can send a check to his parents, they are listed in the phone book!

Is that a good enough response for YOU?
