sometimes God answers prayers.. but not in the way we want...He was healed but not in the way that we think of healing...I know personally that God is in the Miracle working business... if he was not... I would be dead...I won't go into it here but the Pastor is in perfect condition health wise this afternoon... May God Bless

Father, Thank you for the gift of Pastor Billy Joe Daugherty. His love for us was so great, he left us only after he was convinced we would fulfill his promise to you to reach the world with the good new of your Gospel. He taught us well and we will reach the world. Thank you for him showing us the way. In Jesus Name

We should all remember that God's time and reasoning is not ours, and that this world is just the beginning of a better and eternal life in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, of which none of us are worthy. Death is not final, but another phase for faithful Christians, of which I am proud to say that I am. Pastor Daugherty is now in another realm, no pain, no sickness, no sorrow.
May God comfort his family as they grieve their loss.
To any and all non believers and slanderers of our God, He is forgiving, loving, faithful and long suffering, even to those who don't love Him in return. My heart goes out to you in your ignorance!

Our children are a direct product of Pastor's teachings, influence and life. Our mission is to carry on his mission by reaching the lost with the Gospel of helping those in need and living a life that reflects the goodness of God. It is a tragic and horrible loss, but certainly God will make good come from it. In his passing, he will have made a way for others' callings to be fulfilled. His last words were about his desire that everyone would know how much God loves them. And his last words reflect his every word. His entire life was lived for others. We should all use him as an example for our own lives.

Really? Do you KNOW this, or is this something that you have been force-fed all your life to be true? Have you gone there yourself, met or know anyone that can substantiate your claims?

I can say that when you die, you will meet a luxury UFO and a bunch of green and purple men will take you to a chocolate kingdom. Anyone can believe in anything. I used to be in seminary school to become one of these men who spew this mythology and can debate the bible/religion all day long. I came to my senses one day while serving others in another country. The fact of the matter is, is that know one knows for certain what happens. You have just as much proof/argument that there is a god as I do that there is no god. Its whatever you believe in, however, I use science, reason and ration to formulate my opinions and beliefs.

To Chas in Tulsa....God does heal, God answered prayer, when Life left the Rev. Daugherty body, he went from a sick, deceased state to a perfected state...How in the world can you say prayers were not answered, just because they were not answered the way WE thought they should have been does not mean God did not heal him. Rev Daugherty is healed now, he suffers no more! He rejoices forevermore now! Obviously his work here was finished or else God would have seen fit to leave him with us! We are all heartbroken here on earth, but it is for just a little while then this life will all be over and if we too have consecrated and served God with a WHOLE heart we too will have opportunity to rejoice in the Presence of God Forevermore!! AMEN!
Thank you for such an encouraging post.

Billy Joe your joy is complete! Oh death
where is your sting; oh grave where is your victory? To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord where there is fullness of joy!

Regardless of your personal beliefs, you need to stop and think about this man's family before you say something so ugly and mean-spirited. If you have loved ones, then I think you need to issue an apology to them for your hurtful words.

I did not know Pastor Daughtery. I have not been force fed anything. I am a sinner. I make mistakes. I am a Christian. And I know that God IS. I had an experience this past week that could very well, and probably should have ended my life. It was only by His grace that I am still here and I know He is not finished with me yet. As for those of you posting your ugly opinions on here, it is not the time or place. Save it. My thoughts and prayers go out to Billy Joe's family, both related and church. They also go out to those of you who refuse to open your hearts and have no understanding.

Pastor Billy Joe & Sharon and family has sown much seed into so many lives only God knows, my life and my families lives are a testimony to that. I was blind and now I see. In my ignorance before Christ came into my heart I too spoke foolish things, tithing, healing, unbelief in God, unforgiveness, hatred. No more, a life in darkness is a life disconnected from it's Creator, and WE ALL are made in the image of OUR GOD, just because a person does not believe it does not keep it from the the TRUTH. We all love someone, that alone is proof there is a God, For God so LOVED the world HE gave His only Begotten Son Jesus, that WHO SO EVER BELIEVED in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. I love Pastor Billy Joe & Sharon and Family, I am sorry on their behalf for any offenses that through business or any other means that has been taken. God loves you, Pastor Billy Joe will be missed. I am praying for you family.
