YOU EVER HAD A PERFECT JOB? THEN SHUT THE **** UP? SURE THERE ARE SOME REAL DUMBASSES @ ALORICA AND THEY USUALLY ARE TRAINER'S OR MANAGER'S. WHERE HAVE YOU WORKED THAT YOU HAVE NOT SEEN STUPID PEOPLE WITH JOBS THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE BECAUSE MAYBE IT'S TIME TO GO BACK THERE. I'VE HAD BETTER AND I HAVE HAD WORSE JOBS. BUT IT IS A JOB AND NOT EVERYONE CAN SAY THEY HAVE ONE. IF YOU NO LONGER WORK THERE THEN WHY YOU ON THIS SITE NOTHING IN YOUR LIFE IS BETTER THEN READING OR POSTING ON THIS SITE THEN YOU NEED A REAL LIFE. OR MAYBE WE SHOULD HAND YOU A TISSUE. I THINK MAYBE YOU NEED TO CONFRONT YOUR MOTHER WITH THE ISSUE'S YOU HAVE INSTEAD OF WHINING ON THIS SITE AND COMPANY.

Alorica will refuse to pay you for your hours worked, fire you at random, and then lie about it to the state to avoid paying unemployment. Best you refuse to work there.

I worked for Alorica when they handled Sony and it was bad! they made you work on Christmas day ( you didnt get calls) they made you work on new years day (didnt get calls) paid you squat! and if you requsted a holiday off you didnt get paid for it when in training you are told you get paid holidays and if you got the insurence forget about a paycheck becouse it went all to the insurence company

No wonder Sony Droped them

It could be worse especially when you work for a company like Dish Network. What happened with me is that I worked there for almost ten years and they were trying to find a way to get rid of me so that they can hire someone else for less pay. They accused me of not performing when the team I was in charge of was performing well. Its like a mafa there, it's who ever you know, and if they do not like you they will find a way to get rid of you. They hire people and fire them. The turn around is enormous, and they are always hiring. Be careful if you ever go work for Dish Network, they have people in management that do not know what they are doing.

Worked at Alorica for a few years in Tulsa, OK. None around me had a college degree, several people did not even have a High-school diploma. Gang colors and sports outfits were worn despite the company policy. Managers are unqualified and rude. Health benefits are non-existent ($100+ a month for a single female). I left Alorica after several of my co-workers were stabbed in the parking lot by other group of Alorica co-workers.

Are you people kidding me with these posts? In the first place, most of you can't even spell. In the second place, you speak of it "not being safe" and stabbings in the parking lots by other Alorica employees. How about you all stop acting like a bunch of animals and quit attacking each other, and perhaps Alorica can help you make something of yourself. Maybe you're in need of a third grade education? Maybe your parents should have done a better job in clarifying the need for higher education? Maybe, maybe, maybe (btw, that's not really a full sentence!) Clearly you can understand why reading the negative posts is simply a projection of who and what you are - NOT ALORICA'S fault. Quit wasting your time bashing people who have created, developed, and implemented a highly rated and successful company.

I was there when someone smeared feces in the bathroom. That is the quality of worker Alorica hires. They are out of work McDonald's employees. I would throw a resumee away if I saw Alorica on there

I can't decide which comments are the most pathetic and immature. The ones from the people who left the company or the ones who currently work at the company.

Either way I'm just going to X this job ad out.

I don't want to act like one of you people or worse have to work with one of you everyday.

Seriously??? The commercials are just the same as HSBC and any other call center hiring volume. I know this Joe DeSotel guy, also and don't see where his high school social aptitude has anything to do with Alorica. Are you jealous that he stole your girlfriend or something? Or that he is making more money than you by being the recruiting manager at one of Tulsa's bigger companies? Alorica has its issues along with any other place. Yes, they have a revolving door but they're needing quantity over quality and the quality they get just hasn't been that wonderful. As you can tell with all the people they have to keep firing....
Yeah, and you hire them anyway ... niiiiice

This is not a good company to work for and the local media will spin this story to be positive and that Tulsa's economy is picking up. These jobs are a joke and are nothing more than sweat shops-low pay, high demand or productivity.

CFS was a decent concept, but Bartmann was a greedy, drug addict crook. He managed to escape that fiasco somehow. Back in the day, I was recruited there to be an executive. I immediately declined because they were extremely pushy and the company was growing too rapidly for my tatstes. Sure enough, it collapsed as fast as it grew.

Unfortunately Tulsa does not have much to offer in the way of quality jobs.

I worked for alorica in Terre Haute IN. It is a fairly new call center and they are handling ATT calls. They sound about the same. The managers don't know much and the team leads end up knowing more then the trainers and TM's, but get paid a regular wage. Now I have been fighting with them for my final paycheck. When we where hired we told this company was different and the owner had researched and wanted to be different from the normal call centers. Well I have worked for other call centers and this was by far the worst......

I'm a current employee at Alorica and figure I will go ahead and vent about a certain person who not only I have a problem with, but the whole center thinks that the person is a fat ugly self imposed conniving bitch. just lettin ya know. She is also sleeping with a manager there, when she is just an agent. Even though she is aware of the circumstances, she still flaunts her business out in the open in every way shape and form that she possibly could. I would state the name of this person but if other ppl read this post and work at the same Alorica as I do, then they will already know who exactly it is that I'm speaking about. NO JOKE!!!!!!! Well I guess I've had enough to vent about and might eventually come back to vent some more since that is what I'm all about :)...

I am familiar with a group of people who work with Alorica in Kennesaw, Ga.(formerly Ryla). The call center in Kennesaw handles AT&T, Verizon, Pro Flowers (seasonal), Benefeds (seasonal) and rumor has it Home Depot will be coming soon.

Several of the people I know are recent graduates from High School or College. They are working with people that are not good trainers, managers or supervisors. Their HR department is non existant. If you have a problem, there is no one to go to and if you complain you are fired. For example...I am familiar with a young lady that was hired for the US Census project and performed exemplary. After the project ended, she was hired to the Verizon project...Verizon was known around the company for its poor management. She took the job and became salutatorian of her training class.
She worked there almost a year, when she was chosen to work a week on the Pro Flowers' Mother's day project. This project lasted a week. The project ended the friday before Mother's day. She has never been paid for this project.

She spoke to her Supervisor and complained to others in the company. Now after complaining, she has been suspended due to "playing" on the phone. QA heard a series of clicks on the phone and dubbed this playing on the phone. They would not allow her to listen to the call to explain.

Could this be retaliation?

I suggest that Managers and HR staff all need training.

Did you finally get paid? What project did you work?

As I stated, I'm working with a few people that are having this same problem and we would love to know how you got it resolved.
Back in January they were saying there were payroll glitches due to switching payroll companies. This ocurred in May of this same year. I wonder if they switched payroll companies again.

Also, you all should consider joining the lawsuit and the fight for overtime pay.
