Do not ever work for Alorica. I have been here years and I still haven't gotten a raise. I think the last raise they gave to anyone back when it was DecisionOne was in 2001.
They are hiring in at $7 / hr for work that other compainies pay $14 / hr for.
Benefits suck, managers suck. How would you like having a boss that knows less than you do, some of who don't even know how to be a boss.
Why are you still there?

I don’t live in Tulsa any longer, but if I decided to come back to Tulsa, Alorica would be the first place I’d go to seek work.
I worked for Alorica for three years, in which some of this work-time was under a different company name.
Alorica is a great place to work and I would encourage everyone to check them out for employment. If you have basic computer skills, and you meet Alorica’s entry level educational requirements,.. then why not give Alorica a try. The managers are super nice and they will do all they can to help you.
I’d like to say in closing that I really enjoyed going to work each day at Alorica.

The commercials alone would keep me from working there. That Joe Desotel guy is so annoying. He was a complete nerd in high school.

ALL OF YOU ARE STUPID!!!!!!!! I work for Alorica, for one, pay starts at $9.50 or $11 depending on the job. Sprint gladly resigned the contract so don't fool yourself. If you got fired its because you were a moron or wouldnt follow company policy. Any problems that we have in the company are always being looked at to be solved efficiently and in a way that benefits not just alorica but employees.
Joe is a great man. So don't bash someone you probably don't even know. If you are looking for someone to blame because you didn't work like an intelligent person and screwed up then blame yourself

One more thing, if you were thinking about coming to Alorica don't take to heart something from someone who is bashing a company... Think to yourself, If they were at least half the employee they claim then they wouldn't have been fired. Give Alorica a chance. What is the point in preconceived notions? How do you know if we are so bad or not? call them yourself and find out.

AT my company and my husband's company we have been trying to hire for 1 job at mine 3 at his. You would not believe the folks that show up- ages from 20 up, so much cologne/perfume on you can't breathe-(some covering up not bathing), chewing gum and popping and snapping it in your face, some dressed to work in the yard, dirty hair-and they bring a friend to hang out with. Some even smell of alcohol and or weed. Then as we have looked over their applications- some can't even spell the names of the schools they attended. They scribble stuff out all over the app. And what you reallize about 70% of the time is, they REALLY DON'T want the job. They just need to say they looked for a job. When you finally find someone who might work out and hire them, they may or may not show up, or you spend several weeks training and they just don't show up, or some tell us after one day they just don't think they can do it-which is way better then wasting time on training. My husband ends up having to hire people from out of state- and quite a few who are here LEGALLY from other countries. His needs are very technically specific. My company is technical also, but we prefer to train- but it is a skill you can take with you, but we hope you stay for they long run! I am talking full benefits and 40 to 60 thousand a year jobs....
It screams loudly about how pathetic our schools are- so if you are a parent, please teach your children how to apply for a job.
Recruiting can be awful!!! We get people who dont speak english at all, the people who dont shower, people who say I can only tues weds thurs and sat now make it happen. Get real. I want to slap people some days. They come in here on their phones talking loudly and tell me to wait for them to quit having their conversations and then TRY to get a job from ME. shut the heck up and go back to unemployment

Seriously??? The commercials are just the same as HSBC and any other call center hiring volume. I know this Joe DeSotel guy, also and don't see where his high school social aptitude has anything to do with Alorica. Are you jealous that he stole your girlfriend or something? Or that he is making more money than you by being the recruiting manager at one of Tulsa's bigger companies? Alorica has its issues along with any other place. Yes, they have a revolving door but they're needing quantity over quality and the quality they get just hasn't been that wonderful. As you can tell with all the people they have to keep firing....

I currently work at alorica right now in terrehaute. I've been a manager for almost two months. Trust me. All the eumors are true. This place is horrible. Upper management walks all over you. You feel unimportant even though I put in 55+ hours a week. All for 24,000 a year. Not to mention they began docking managers salaries for missed sick days but sine we are on salary we cannot earn it back. There is no definative answer on anything and morale sucks.trust me. It's not so glamourous.

Now that Alorica has moved to the old Eastland Mall location where U of Phoenix and Coca Cola is located they are supposed to be better. The contract with sprint is also supposed to be a better deal, also.

If you are interviewing with a company and want to hear some employee feedback go to

jobvent.com

I learned alot about my previous employer. Had I gone there earlier I would have known that they were considering a global layoff before it happened and not have to go through that experience.

I never signed the sheet for my first written warning and on it it stated i would not dislose information on my written warning with anyone but the managers and I told my neigbor agent and was walked out the door within minutes. I requested a new team manager and was denied and ever since I requested a new tm , i have been treated like crap. every day its a new reason to be walked to the backroom to talk and sign papers. shove your job up your ass alorica. I am going to work on the skihill for a few dollars less but at least I get respect. peace out.

I worked for alorica in Terre Haute IN. It is a fairly new call center and they are handling ATT calls. They sound about the same. The managers don't know much and the team leads end up knowing more then the trainers and TM's, but get paid a regular wage. Now I have been fighting with them for my final paycheck. When we where hired we told this company was different and the owner had researched and wanted to be different from the normal call centers. Well I have worked for other call centers and this was by far the worst......

Yea, it was a sad, sad day when CFS & Bill Bartman was brought down. My husband worked for them and at the time (like 10 years ago) their starting pay was about $10,000 more than you would make somehwere else. It was a grueling process to get hired but boy once you did the perks were wonderful. Free trips to Las Vegas & Disneyworld with $500.00 spending money. Raises every 6 months, the BEST insurance we have ever had. Your worked hard, but you were rewarded greatly...I think Tulsa is still reeling from that loss. Over 3000 jobs lost in a matter of 6 months. Still makes me sad to think about it to this day. Anyone else out there that worked for CFS???
They were corrupt!! Crooks! Illegal and unethical business practices! It was a mirage and you think it was a sad day? It was justice. Besides most the employees knowingly performed thier duties in an unethical and/or illegal manner.
