ALL rich people should be taxed at a higher rate. This has NOTHING to do with their politics.

Does that help you to understand, li'l fella? Good...:)
I disagree rich should not be taxed at a higher rate but be forced to pay the same rate as everyone else. A flat tax percentage would solve all. I know of a business man that made over a million dollars in income for 1 year and paid less in taxes than I did at 45k a year. Why? Loopholes, the rich can afford them. Also make the people in government pay their taxes on time. I read that almost 80% of government officials are behind on their income taxes by years! If everyone would pay 10% in taxes reguardless of income things would get better. I don't pay less sales tax at the store because I'm not rich so why should the rich get to pay less income tax? A flat percentage is key. Then again the rich will see this as paying more and the poor getting a free ride

I see you really just regurgitate the Rush Limbaugh Faux News bullshit. Try reading this from Forbes.com ...A consevative site.

A flat tax would be much more regressive than the current income tax. As a result, poor people will pay a larger share of their income than they do at present. Middle-income people will also pay more. Moreover, spending falls as a share of income as income rises. Low-income people spend all their income or more. High-income people spend only a tiny fraction. A flat tax inevitably exempts most of the income of high-income people from tax. If it is going to raise the same amount of revenue as the current system, it must raise somebody elseís taxes. That would be low- and middle-income people.

No I don't listen to the Fox News crap and if everyone paid 10% how are the poor pay more and the rich less? I pay on average now 22% in taxes yearly how would I pay more if I paid 10%? Honestly I did not purpose a flat tax but a flat tax percentage pay attention. A flat tax percentage would mean the rich and the poor both would contribute 10% of their income.

Which flat tax plan are you speaking of? Most plans don't effect poor people as it doesn't kick in util a certain income is reached. And then there are two tier plans in which high incomes pay a higher flat tax than a lower income does. The important thing is most of the loopholes are gone.

Yet Romney told us he could raise that kind of revenue, plus another 8 trillion, and not raise taxes.
Yes, absolutely, by broadening the tax base. Keeping capital gains & corporate tax low spurs growth. Obama is not proposing that. What's more, doing any of it without overhauling the tax code useless.

Why do you suppose corporations are paying out dividends at 3Xs the pace they were last year? They're getting ready to hunker down for a couple years.

What is a flat tax percentage if it's not a flat tax? You ignorant moron. That does not make it a fair tax. Go to the Forbes.com site, get your head out of your frightwingnut ass, and read the whole article.

Be fair to Pres. Obama. We knew he didn't have the skill set or the motivations to SOLVE any of our Economic problems B4 we elected him. America didn't vote to make anything better.
America only voted for Obama. Americans
have far lower standards now.

This isn't hard to figure out. Americans no longer care about America.

My observation only stems from watching "Progressive" Democrats and Racist Chicano Anarchist Democrats use their Democratic voting majority to destroy the future for the Democratic majority population in Blue Blue California. I just hate to see the same out come for the rest of the Nation.

I've heard this idea before. Don't know enough about it, but it sounds fair. From what I've heard the GOV would take in more money? I don't think 10% is enough, more like 15 or 20%. Eliminate ALL loopholes and like Herman said, "999".

"999" means every one would have "skin in the game". What a novel concept. Bad for Democrats though as it would be too fair and positive. It would Stop the ultra destructive Hard Left from spewing the Class Warfare HATE every time they can get before a camera or a mic.
And, after all, HATE is all they got...and Voters LOVE it.
