Obviously you refuse to see the truth. The fiscal cliff has already happened. Happened in May.
Keep carrying the DNC flag though. Do not look at the debt to GDP numbers. It is all Republicans fault.
Enjoy the puppet show.
Amen! Like a couple of points on the tax rate would amount to anything. It's nothing but a dog and pony show.

Norquist, Boehner, the GOP and the Tea Baggers want to protect the super rich and give them tax breaks.
I'm ready to go off "the fiscal cliff". If that happens the GOP is dead. Shyt, they're on life support now.
"Mitt Romney has an Olympic athlete in his family. It has four legs and gave Romney a $77,000 write-off on his 2010 taxes."
Does anyone here really think that as wealthy as the Romney's are we should be paying for their dancing horse?
You want some cheese with that whine?

All you whiny liberal pricks are constantly whining and complaining about "the rich", yet some of THE RICHEST people in America are liberal demoncraps, how come you never mention any of them? How many "write-offs" do you suppose Obastard enjoys? Or Nasty Pelosi? Or Bawney Flake? Or Billary?

Quit whining for a while you pussies.

My father is in the 1%. He has also been an engineer since they were putting men on the moon, which he helped do, and has been on the cutting edge ever since - still works and is in his 70s.

Now my neighbor on the other hand, who has "99%" scrawled all over her car, babysits people's pets.

Whereas my neighbor won't do anything differently regarding the "cliff" my father will reduce his income producing work depending on what taxes he will pay. Meaning, less productivity for people like my neighbor to loot from.

I heard that when the Soviet Union was being established that many people burned down their farms, assisting in the starvation. I don't know if it's true but it would certainly make sense. Property is a natural assumption when one works their ass off to CREATE it.

Show us the proof of what the republicans are doing. Lets see your non liberal source. Knew you didn't have any.

Take it to the Repubbies on this issue. They need to realize that they LOST the election, that the majority of this country WANT higher taxes on the rich but a continuation of middle-class cuts, and that we will not TOLERATE more game-playing with the debt ceiling, especially if it threatens any American credit rating.

Notify Boehner! Notify McConnell! Tell 'em all!

Your father's no better than your neighbor. Juding people on their wealth or political opinions is shallow and foolish.

If you're father's so dumb that he thinks that "reducing his income-producing work" will save him significantly in taxes, he's no engineer. Look up "marginal tax rates" and see what I mean.

Are your Republican friends going to help us by driving the country off an economic cliff, or damaging our bond rating by playing games with the debt ceiling, would you say? What does Daddy say about THAT?

Hmmm?

Grow up and learn to speak English, fool.

ALL rich people should be taxed at a higher rate. This has NOTHING to do with their politics.

Does that help you to understand, li'l fella? Good...:)

You do understand that the President needs to play a part here, right? negotiation is a two way street.

Oh, and Obama wants the Office of the President to have the permanent power to unilaterally raise the debt limit... Do you think that's a good idea?

There are certain things that aren't negoiable, as the majority of Americans indicated in the last election.

So we start with 98 percent tax cut being made permanent and the the two percent not being renewed.

Then move on to the loop holes, set a reasonable maximum deduction for all loopholes.

Do you know what a debt ceiling is and who created it? Do you know why it was created? What purpose does it serve to have a ceiling if it continues to be raised?

The bad credit rating is a result of spending more than you can afford to pay back.

Since his approval is dropping already, the fact he won by a small margin doesn't keep much of the supposed mandate alive. It's already on life support, and when Obama drive us off the cliff and you loons start paying taxes, then once again America will become WE THE PEOPLE.
