I have been visiting Venice since 1965. If the Moses Project is not allowed to be finished I fear the death of the city can not be far away. The tragedy of such a happening would be unprecedented even in these times of worry over pollution and climate change. Venice belongs to the world and must be preserved for future generations. There is truly nothing else like it.
