“Our last Washington trip we came back with a proposal and now hope we’re going to submit it to the legislative committee and it’ll come back as an actual bill that we can vote for.”

Curious...At what point do the parents and "children" take responsibility for their actions and NOT the American tax payer nor the American government?

Sounds like some personal problems to me! You knew what to expect when you came in! Children, you have known since kindergarden and first grade when you started ELL, that "papers" were the most important thing in your family...that and using you to stay on welfare.

The gig is up, go home!

Move on folks, this is merely window dressing... This chick has a snowball's chance in hell...being used politically.

I thought they couldn't afford to go to college.

Since they are so proud of their peasant, corrupt culture, they should go home

our congress needs to stop wasting tax payer money by wasting time on issues to help illegal aliens. these things should never come up nor ever be heard.

they have enough to work on without wasting time on illegal aliens help dreams.

"Amnesty legislation is back! They have changed the name from Dream Amnesty to STARS Amnesty. S.T.A.R.S stands for Studying Towards Adjusted Residency Status! The bill translates into illegal aliens replacing American students in college at taxpayer expense to gain amnesty and voting rights to prevent future immigration or border enforcement.

The name change makeover is probably because of two reasons. One, we have defeated Dream Amnesty in Washington six times in the past few years and two, we are on course to help the great folks on the ground in Maryland defeat the in-state tuition for illegal aliens component of Dream Amnesty in a referendum this November!

The architects of this invasion of America know that the name "Dream Act" has become toxic and are re-branding."
