I really don't think so, there have been lots of interests to build tourist accommodation in Tonga. In the past, when you get these smart levelheaded New Zealand or Australian, American business executives turning up,They soon find out that they are asked for bribes and money to speed up the process.
They soon get on the next flight out of the country.
Just as an aside I was told recently that, at a Western high commission, the gardeners extort bribes from the people coming in the gate, to stop them from getting their passports in order.
If the people don't pay the money to the gardeners, the Administration staff inside the high commission will put them at the end of the line.
Corruption seems to be everywhere
if you look at the amount of money the Chinese have loaned the government, and we looked at what we have achieved with this money, what was built and what services were provided, you can easily see that it would only equate to about 10% of the money that was loaned that was actually utilised,
where has all the money gone?
And why do we get these mentally retarded people still supporting the fake royals, and their gangster camp followers, at the expense of their own families and themselves, and the public good.
Let's have a insurrection today
we must demonstrate until we drive out of our country, this criminal class
we must do it today
we have no time to waste

What happened to the hotel that was going to be built in Taunga, Vava'u or is it now a secret resort which is going to save the economy of the kingdom.
