I for one think it's too late. Signs like this suggest to me that we've already f'ed up the global environment past the point of no return. We're only going to see more serious concequences from here on. We'll learn eventually, but I fear that many of us may be in danger of starvation if these kind of problems continue to escalate.
But of course, that's just my opinion. I'm not trying to preach the apocolipse here. Just worried.
