Bungee cord snaps on tourist, who survives plunge into African river
CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA An Australian tourist bungee jumping in Africa plunged 111 metres into a river when her cord snapped, but she managed to swim to safety with a broken collarbone and her legs tied together.

as I heard it. She did the jump (in a rather exotic location). Rope broke, she plunged some several ++ hundreds of feet, blacked-out, came to, legs firmly tied, had to swim to shore. Not just swim (legs tied) but had to go back into the fray because the bungee rope trailed and would get caught on rocks. She did this while in croc infested waters.
This person HAS what it takes to survive and THEN SOME!
