Somaliland is a democratic country therefore has the right unlike any other democratic country to kick the ass of anyone who provokes it.

Is like saying what is UK doing in the falklands or what is Ethiopia is doing in Ogadenia. They all have the right to keep their land, by force because no one can tell them what to do, because they are all democratic hence thats why international community keeps their mouth shut about SSC.

Democratic? I think the word you´re looking for is sovereign, since you used Ethiopia as an example, which is a dictatorship.

It cannot be ignored that Somali unionists are a force not to be ignored. Both Khatumo and Awdal states represent a significant force that cannot be ignored. I call on Muqdisho to sent AMISOM and Somali National Armed Forces to proctect these to states that do not want the force of Isaqland on their people. They are Somalis; they believe in Somalism and they don't want Isaq calling that they own them. It is their right to defend their land and defend against the succesionist sickoes who want to divide the country for their own gain.

Interesting, point here but lacks basic logic. Somaliland is not going to allow any foreign forces to be in their soil. This is not somalia! "Somali national armed forces" do they exist? "AMISON" foreign forces sent to keep the dying TFG alive until when i don't know. Do you understand that if somalia had an effective army their country wouldn't have been in that mess. AMISON/TFG forces are there to protect a patient(somalia) if this live supporting machine is swtiched off you know somalia (mogadishu) will again be in the hands of alshabab. Khaatumo, and awdalland neither one has the legitimacy to represent people who they claim to represent. ask your self who elected khaatumo/awdalland?
Abu subayr abu mansur aka Godane will make sure he keeps the drama going in somalia as long they can.

First you should make the difference between democtracy and soveriennty. It is easy to have a soveriegnty over a land or country but it is not easy to be a democtratic country. Democtracy is belief in freedom and equality so to uphold the principles of democtracy , you have to start from the botton, you have to educate your people, build the infrastracture and eliminate the ignorance and create harmony betwee the people.

We can not be a democratic country while only 15 or 5% of our people can read and write. Therefore to be a democtractic need a persistent hard work with political professionals to draw or plan the way to achieve those principles. Soveriegnty is easy since you have a country and member the UN.

To go back to the topic, I personally appreciate the peaceful atmosphere the people of Somaliland and Putland are living and they deserve to be respect for what they have achieved. I hope their peace will sustain.

Somalilands have showed the world that they can manange to govern. They also have showed that they are eager to secede from the south Somalia, using the colonisation border.Well, we somalis know each other very well, every tribe has an area . Samaroon has an area, Isaaq has an area ; dulbahante has an area. Well, if Isaaq want to have his own land and dont want to deal with other Somalis, they have a full right to do so. But however, they have also consider those who dont have to deal with them to have their right to go where they want to.

We are all human, we are all Somalis , we need to unite . I hope the next united Somali republic president will from Isaaq.

LOOOOOOOL I was trying to tell this to FaaraxZeeroIncome in another thread, he believes we could have been a real true democracy even though only 5% of the population could read and write and access education. It doesn´t even make sense.

That is a very good evidence of their ignorance about what is the democracy. Even more a country can be a real democratic when half of its people are under the poverty line. Siduu go aan uu wx ku doorto u yeelan qof aa quudkiisa haysan.

Somaliland can break away if it wants to but Awdal and where the Khaatumo are not going to be part of it because the don't want to be ruled by Isaaq. Either we go back to a united Somalia or every clan can rule itself because nobody can accept someone stealing their land from them and trying to rule over them. So bye bye Somaliland break away if you want with your 3 cities.

Somaliland is trying to educate it's people, by doing whatever they can to do so. your stat is wrong! 50% of somaliland population are literate, compare this to 1991 when only 5% was literate. In the 21 years somaliland existed, they have done what was their ability to educate their own people. slowly one by one. The administration in power now has made primary and intermediate schools fee free. which means everyone will have access to basic education, it's expected somaliland to become 90+ literate in 15 years time insha allah. After all you have to realise this country is unrecognized and has no access to international development aid. we can't ask the IMF/world bank a penny, because we are not recognized yet we are here with aims and targets. The country's budget this year has hitted $100 million compare to $60 million under previous government. Certain people don't like democracy because they know they will lose elections and don't have confidence in them selves. The only way they get something is through warlordism and the gun barrel which doesn't surprise me. You claimed your people are "5%-15%" literate. may ask what have you done to make them 100 literate? Ever asked your self what you have done for your country?

To SSC and Awadalis people, don't be afraid of your fellow isaaqs, they aren't mentally infected by tribalisum like the south,we are more civilized and willn't run the country in dectator ship as it was during the old regim of siad barre.we are far away from that mentality.LOOK,president Riyaale which wasn't isaaq ruled somaliland eight years and was elected democratically.
these southerns are injecting your tribal nerves against us to use you people to look a failed state exactly like what they are doing and want you to participate in that dirty game based based on tribalisum 4.5,a pure stinking tribalusim which leaded the somalis to be recued by kenyans and eithiopians who are them selfs in the bottom of the worlds civilization.

and I mean Somalia. If you look at globel map
there is no such thing as Somaliland so stop this nonsense and talk about the reality.maybe you should concentrate the future of our country and how we could take part in uniting our ppl.
