Minister of Trade and Services Slobodan Milosavljevic attended on Monday the start of destruction of 120,000 pirated CDs in recycling centre "Bozic and Sons" (BiS), seized by the market inspection in the period from 2007 to 2009.

Milosavljevic thanked the representatives of the US Embassy, the American Chamber of Commerce and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce who were present at the event for helping to get things done in the best manner and announced an even more determined fight against this sort of crime.

Minister-Counsellor of the US Embassy in Belgrade Earle Litzenberger said that Serbia is losing $19 million every year because of piracy and pointed to the need of joint fight against this phenomenon which affects badly the economy of every country.
