Niš is NOT the Alvanian name. Niš is a Slavic Serbian name.

"The town was named after the Nišava River , which flows through the city and which was named Navissos by the Celtic masters of the city in the 3rd century BC; it was then known as Roman Naissus , Byzantine Nysos and Slavic Niš."

In Serbian City of the Niš there live 250.000 Serbs and only 44 Albanians or 0.04% of the total Serbian Nis's population.

Of the 261.000 inhabitants of the Serbian City of Nis , only 44 of them are Albanians.
