Mona Hamid left Saudi Arabia 8 years ago for a career in marketing in Dubai. Now, the mother of two and a career woman is fighting back against what she calls the archaic practice of male guardianship in her home country.

Guardianship laws should be abolished. Women do not need permission of her guardian for employment, marriage or anything. I am sure most men will not agree to such interference. It is good to have blessing of one's family but she has to live her life not her family members.Gov ernment should change such unjust laws.
