Hajj is an Islamic institution under which every able person is obligated to perform it at least once in a life time. This is ordained by Al Quran and edicts of Holy Prophet.
Anyone complying with this requirement is following a superior law of Allah swt which cant be overruled by Saudi laws. The power of local laws ought be flexible rather rigid at least to those performing hajj for the first time.
Let their be Hajj Court constituted by various Muslim countries whose jurisdiction ought cover the issue of whether a person be deprived from Hajj. One must remember Allah swt is displeased upon those who obstruct people from Hajj or even preventing the animals to reach at place of sacrifice.
The King of Saudia may be ruler to Saudis but to those performing Hajj or Umra he being custodian of two holy places is servant and the host to take care of those discharging their Islamic obligation.
Interestingly all the major countries spend millions of dollars to attract the tourists but Saudia is ungrateful and its police and immigration and customs officials are petty minded disgracefuls. During the last 28 years I posed a question to those who visited Saudia if they will visit Saudi Arabia again, the answer was if it was not or Allah swt, they will never step in their arrogance again.
Let the policy for Hajj be dignified. About 4 million people commute through New York City every day withot a hitch and Saudi Arabia besides earning from vsitors could not accommdate a million plus. A serious thougt be given to this issue keeping in mind Mecca and Medina belongs to all the Muslims including Saudis. You cant exert exclusive claim over it. Bring back those deported Nigerian women and let them perform Hajj. It will please Allah swt., if you care.
