Cheers to you Geoff Pritchard and family! Its no surprise to see you and the family visiting Samoa...as it would just be like a homecoming to one's roots.
I wonder if you descend from Alexander Bradford or James Barnard Pritchard?
Cheers and Kudos on the success of your business venture!

Hey Sis!! Great to hear from you! Oh the weekend is same ol same ol, just more to do hahaha. Sis, that's neat and amazing that you know the Pritchards in Samoa. THAT sis is my family as my mom is a Pritchard. The colorful genealogy that i mentioned a bit of on the other post. E aiga uma au Pilitati(thats what they call us...no not the fish hahaha!)i Upolu-Samoa, Pago-Tutuila fa'apea fo'i le itu lea o lo'o i Aoteroa and I am quite confident...sure the ones in Australia, as that is where the other Pritchard brothers emigrated to in the mid to late 1850's and early 1860's,established their businesses there and lived there as well. Yeah there are the Pritchards in Vaigaga,Vaiusu,Talimatau,Faleo lo etc.
What a small world indeed!
Why is it so hot there at this time of year? Is it the usual or is the weather getting freaky out there? lol. I thought it would still be cool...or is it your summer??? Masalo fo'i o le faiga fo'i o le El Nino.
I almost forgot, its Monday there aye? Ia fa'amalo lava i le onosa'i ma le galue ma le fa'amaoni sis! Take care, chat with you again!!

LOL! Hahaha! Perhaps interracial marriages? Adoption???hehehe. No offense taken sis. Suga, I havent had the chance to meet most of my Pritchard fam in Samoa, but masalo e iai nisi o le aiga e iai pito fiti in their bloodline... through marriage and so forth. There are many branches of the family. As far as African American, hmmm I wouldnt know about that, but the ones in the mainland US and east coast Pritchards I can see that. Ae to'atele fo'i au Pilitati pito saina, siamani i Upolu etc and I'm pretty sure you would know them as well. But as you know, a nofo le afatasi i leisi afatasi, po'o se palagi it surely would continue the caucasian side as an example. But as time goes along and depending on the mixed marriage and ethnicities it becomes a matter of which genetic characteristics become more dominant. hehehe se ua lava ia, ua amata ona talanoa fa'a DNA chromosomal genetics and hereditary characteristics hahahaha!
Okay sis, chat wit you again. Wow, it must be humid there then huh? Hopefully it doesnt last too long there.
Okay sis chat wit you again! Aua le kuli kuli i, ae get some rest!

Talofa there Rana,
Pardon the late...late post.
By any chance...do you know if your husband's father's full name is Leopold or named after an ancestor? We have in our Pritchard Family Genealogy...Leopold Pritchard who marries Anna Hahn(this is in Western Samoa)....the Vaigaga and Vaiusu Pritchard clans...does that sound familiar to you?

If at all you would like to touch base on the genealogy of the Pritchards in the Pacific...just hit me up.
I truly am sorry to hear about Geoff.
Take care now and God Bless You and the family.

The family name of Pritchard has undergone several changes through its history. It is also spelled Prichard,Pritchett,Picard et cetera PRITCHARD is of Welsh origin. Who is the first Pritchard? lol You would have to go back a little more in history during the Crusades to find the evolution of the name into Pritchard. There is a coat of arms and shield for the PRITCHARD family.
