His reforms were just and would have been successful if it wasnt for the constant external blockades.
Zimbabwe or previous Rhodesia economy was buit to trade and depend on mother england. it takes decades to change that.
English blockade delivered poverty in zimbabwe, i mean water supply is failing in harare because the water pumps and filter system parts need to be supplied from USA or UK (both conducting embargo)or build new system to supply from china and for that mugabe is to blame.
Mugabe is no rose but he is not worse that bush, blair, obama or any other western leader.

I don't recall bush, blair or obama seizing the farms of their own people and expelling the farmers who built these farms.

Thanks Sheryl!
I checked out "Cadaver Synod" and "Pope Formosus" (816-896 AD) on wikipedia. How grotesque! The inserted painting by Jean-Paul Laurens is memorable--the stuff of my nightmares.
here we go again religion we are forgiven for our sins but how can the leaders of religion honestly forgive but all religions need money to survive so that,s what it is all about, money and power politics need money, african plotics are diffrent tribal.

Problem is Zimbabweans are too dumb to farm the land. Zims should hand it back to the elephants who rightly own it.
sometimes nationalism overcomes commonsense, and people cut off their nose to spite their face, however then people suffer because of trade they need to work in the world outside, which means they must accept countries which they sometimes hate this is what happens when countries shake off colonialism communism, and religious states, dictatorships, but history repeats itself.
