I saw this on TV and it was SO horrible how the police dragged the young girls away from their distraught mom. They should have used tranquilizer darts to keep everything civil! Imagine if there had been a property open for inspection close by and there were potential buyers! What kind of negative impact would such callous handling of live children have on property prices in the neighbourhood?!?
Mother was the criminal

The mother and her toxic relations had it coming.
They schemed and plotted and lied all the way.
They bludged off the tax payer in Australia and ran a filthy campaign against the father.
The woman made unilateral decisions with no care or respect to the fathers rights to his children. They delayed and obstructed justice.
And they turned and poisoned the kids minds.
The mother and her toxic great aunt should be
put in a public place and shamed, they are filth.
And maybe the previous commenter could care to see thru the staged media drama and brain washing of the kids and their pre programmed behaviors. How would he or she like their kids to be abducted, denied contact, hidden behind a male father hating legal system as we have in australia And have to wait years for justice and the return of their children?
The girls should have been returned immediately according to the Hague convention rules, not Australia interfering and denying the convention.
Her family here that caused all the problems by persuading the weak, stupid and decietful mother to kidnap the children in the first place from their home in Italy.
The father showed more compassion and consideration in not pressing charges than the mother and her relations ever did
The mother was proved unfit, not the father.

But Italians are liers and want everything their own way.. My sister was dating an Italian dude, he was an absolute control freak, reading all her texts, controlled her FB / Emails etc, she was interrigated or hit if she was 5 minutes late home, eventually she left and he was deported from Australia (under the partner visa act)- and now I hear of a friend of a friend going through the same thing, and yep, her husband is also Italian.

I saw in the Courier Mail today the kids tried to run away in Italy, screaming at Australian media to help them, that he was hitting them already and they are scared of him. The Oz media had to call Italian child welfare. I guess he told a bunch of lies to the Oz courts (typical) bet the kids will never talk to him when they're oler, he's pretty much ruined the relationship with him now.
