Yes, great news when its heard by the public.

The Green approach has its merits, however it doesn't matter how green you might think you are, we make pollution some other way like..ETC T.V , cars ,trucks, even the stuff we all flush and so. However, even the harden Greene still has to drive/pollute the air and so on.....you just cant advised people to stop living, can you?

Humans make a mess, and sometimes even in the most positive sence of the word, of (all good intention) of course.......( the numbers of us are indeed the problem

The more humans you have, the harder it is to keep under-control.( globe house keeping )

Education on looking after the planet is imperative for the survival of all creatures including our selves.

If humans destroy this planet, we don't have a spare world to go to, do we....and of course one of the biggest polluters are people.

7 billion people and counting. In the UK, there's one baby born every 60 second and I feel we are just a virus/plague.

I always will remain optimistic that humans can change there ways of the obvious reasons, that most don't hear or see.

Obviously, if nature took 100's of million's of years to bed the carbon, it only makes sence that if we released it, humans will see the matching weather conditions as the planet becomes more and more UN-stable.

Green-power is the Australian government’s scheme to encourage the use of energy from renewable sources. When someone purchases Green-power, the company they buy it from has to buy an equivalent amount of energy from an accredited renewable source, and feed it back into the nationwide energy grid.

To ignore the signs that this planet is under stress, THE FOOLISH CREATURES WE HAVE BECOME.

EXTINCTION!

That means the end of ALL life, and just not you or me.

Off topic for just a sec.....I had asked this Question many times on other forums, and couldn't seem to get an answer for, maybe someone here could help?......and it goes like......

"When your children leave school, where are they going to go?

Cheers.

I'll answer this question: A lot of kids don't know themselves where they are going to go or what they really want to do that'll keep them satisfied throughout their working career.

Depends. Quite a few kids follow their parents' footsteps given that they've already been given an good insight into what those careers entail before they leave school plus the advantage of having contacts/relatives in those professions in scoring a job there.

A private school kid might study law and join the law firm his/her relative works in, likewise someone who isn't university-minded and has a father who works in the construction industry might follow his father's footsteps there.

And a lot of kids just cycle through different industries during their career until they find the one that's more tolerable/less crappy. They might develop a liking for a particular field many years after they've left school and go into tertiary education to train themselves up for their new chosen field.

By the way, what do careers have to do with Coldplay and 'eco-festivals'?

I came back from the Deniliquin Ute Muster last Sunday and while it couldn't really be defined as an eco-music festival, Suzi Quatro put on a great show and I got to within 5 metres from the front, so there you go. Great atmosphere and great music,

I was too tired and sore to see Eskimo Joe and Icehouse on stage the following night but the sound was still good where my friends and I had camped. I wasn't too disappointed about giving Guy Sebastian a miss.

Just trying to put the thread (sort-of) on track with music festivals and the like, that's all.

Nice dreams..........But the reality is by far much more a night-mare because of in-diffidence.

Question! Can any employer guarantee me/others 45 years of save employment?

What are your answers to the over-population question? if you have any:)....and just to add, what future can you offer in regards to the most importance questions..Can you give All Australians the same dreams, as well as boat people ( times ten), and still grantee the false-hood delusions for not what they are, but as there are worth.

Capitalism!....I knew it would fall, way back in the eighties/nineties..:)...how!.. simple greed.

The question is, for what, as many new young couples are asking....Does the Australian Government and our culture of over-population, factored in this latest failure?

Can you tell me the road from here?

Oh just to continue.....In Australia.....everyone's a wanker....excepted the wankers.

You can see them in Hervey bay and in many other places:) What a bunch of dick-heads.....and they cant even imagine what cards they play:) must be a DNA connected thing:)

I was sent a e.mail just the other day, and it when like this.....

"When GOD made Queensland, he made it beautiful one day and perfect the next.....and why he filled it with dickheads, still remains a mystery."

I don't think that's true, however if the shoe fits:)

EVO:)

Good luck to you and your families:)

No, it's not 1970's Australia anymore.
EVO wrote:

Cultural change and alleviation of poverty. Failing that, war, starvation and disease.

Nope. Those dreams are things people will have to fight for for themselves, they aren't granted by myself and they are granted least of all by politicians.

If you're suggesting that Australia should keep on increasing its population simply to cater for those who dream of an infinitely expanding economy and without a care for infrastructure needed, the social effects, the environment, food and water supply and such then that's not such a great idea.

Sorry scooterman...I do travel a bit in-front:)

Your philosophy is in fact the question.

Oh absolutely, I cant see anything wrong.

All the best.

The country naturally lends itself to sociability, as opposed to urban drug-infested areas. It has nothing to do with Brokeback Mountain or sexual deviants, child-tamperers and Bilal Skaf-gang rapist types in the city.

Brokeback Mountain was an URBAN film-writers fantasy about American cowboys.

Country people hang around with their mates because they aren't ethnic hermits in the city who play World of Warcraft 24/7, nor are they scumbag junkies beating up, robbing and raping defenceless people trying to imitate their subhuman idols in American gang culture.

Your average urban scubag doesn't have genuine friends to hang a
round with, he has 'associates' instead.

Your 'boyz from the city centre' are a bunch of junkie slimeballs with no balls who couldn't cope with the country, that's why they carry weapons and harass weaker people in the city. They are AIDS and cancer, pure and simple.

I think it will be starvation, war and disease. You see we humans are on an over shoot at the moment and when it comes, it will come hard, then the fun will begin, and the scum shall be purged. The elite know they have messed up, and the only recourse will be war eventually, it's a matter of when, not if. Deep down the scum know this as they know the elite will want to hold onto what they have.

The western world turning into a 3rd world cess pit is not an option for the elite, if they want to survive.

I just tried to post what I think of some of you, and maybe its better that the modes stopped it.

Being from the city and coming to here in QLD, I wouldn't piss on some of you, even if you were on fire!

Maybe I just meet the wrong type of country arse-hole.

The statement still stands.

inner cricle EVO wrote:

In the city, people just like to pretend the genders are equal to bolster their sense of 'urban sophistication'. But when you consider that even most upper-management jobs are male-dominated, the truth starts to dawn on you.

And bear in mind that the greater ethnic diversity in the cities means that there are cultures which don't really share the same enthusiasm for gender equality as do urban social-progressives.

Yes, your urban romantism does need to catch up to reality.

Why not? Better than a knife in the stomach from a total stranger in a city nightclub (if you're lucky, you would've had Rohypnol slipped into your drink beforehand - another lovely urban nightclub habit).

Whoever 'Davo' and 'Steveo' are I'm sure I won't fall asleep listening to them wank on about themselves, drone on about less fortunate people or some other trivial upset in their over-privileged lives, I'd rather spend my time trying to slit my own wrists by using a stick of celery.
