Right aGAIN gLORIA" it really is the truth,...our country w2ill never become something to brag about until all people who in themselves are supposed to be the Law, breaks the law as if it means nothing to them.In GMA 's time, she was the example that made many if not all her followers and employees rich. They in turn did what she did with impunity. They stole peoples money right and left. Jail is too light a punishment for them. Aquino must prevent that from happening again. Our country is swamped by Law breakers right now,...starting from high officials on down to the Janitor. The people are fed up.

It is an open and shut case thaT THE pOLICE dEPARTMENT HERE IN THE pHILIPPINES are the most crooked in the Asian part of the world.I used to be proud when I sidled close to any cop when I was a child,...but not anymore today when they usually ask you if "mayroon ba dian pare ? People avoid getting close to a cop today, it is either fear of being asked for something or their mere presence means they are up to something. Of the 150,00o cops in the Police Department, about 50,000 are dedicated cops,...the rest are good for nothing. Mr. President, please make this as one project that needs your immediate attention .They are in league with the crooks.

In this part of the world one may see a pot bellied cop in a Patrol Car or street duty but as a rule only muscled, young and desciplined cops are seen everywhere. Pot bellied cops cannot run after a thief or climb fenches, they should be retired or join the Senior Citizen's lines.

Humans have the capacity to create... Buildings, machines, airplanes, complex speech, write, endless things animals can not accomplish. Simply because we are not animals. It makes me wonder why so many people act like animals.

Perhaps, after getting used to violence in our midst, man has reverted to be animals and act like animals. Our government really needs a thorough clean up of undesirables in our Police System and in the Military. The majority of them think nothing of having killed a person,...their training has instilled it in them and are trained to kill in most instances. This has to stop or we will end up being ruled by these ANIMALS.

Number one its the filipino people fault for letting them kick the duly elected President Joseph Estrada,...They have no respect for the law; and the only reason why they kick him out so that they're the one can rob the government coffer, as we all can see it. But, Still the filipino people didn't do anything about it. Imagine if Gloria Arroyo, Et al. Succeed on their plan to change the constituion law; Gloria Arroyo, Well be in power forever. Where do you think the philippines gonna be?! Aber: Down the gutter! But still the filipino people just don't care. So, Don't blame them for corruption because its the filipino people fault for letting them get away with it.

Even in society it is sad to see people act like animals too, taking advantage of others, messing up mother nature, total lack of discipline. It's like systematic anarchy. It is time for tax payers to have a real say in what is going on.

It is so embedded in Philippine society that people just see it as the everyday norm. The mindset will not change quickly due to lack of proper information/education that tackles these issues. The attitude of 'bahala na' will be a hard thing to change.

Don't be too hard on the "bahala na " attitude of the people who display that kind of attitude when they believe they are helpless to change the things they want to change, like improving their livelihood. Remember, nobody wants to be poor. At least, the Trumps are doing something good for the Filipinos. We need people who are doers, not mean Filipinos just badmouthing the Filipinos. In an e-mailed question and answer with The STAR, Trump – who owns some of the most expensive pieces of real estate in New York, including Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue, Trump Building on Wall Street, and Trump World Tower at the UN Plaza, each valued at over $250 million - said,“In discussing this opportunity with (daughter) Ivanka, we felt that Manila would be a strong market for the Trump brand. It is one of Asia’s most important cities and Manila’s sophisticated clientele really appreciates luxury. We were familiar with Century Properties and we found that their accomplishments in Manila were significant and we are confident that they would be a terrific group to develop an outstanding luxury residential building and brand it with our name.” At least there will be employment for the unemployed Filipinos.

To Aussie Pinoy, Here is additional article to testify that the Philippines is progressing and not as bad as your belief (except on criminal activities which seems to be the number one problem) Century Properties Group Inc., the fastest growing property developer in the Philippines that has successfully launched projects with renowned global brands, announced major milestones for its latest property development, Trump Tower Manila. Trump Tower Manila has pre-sold more than half of its units since its soft launch in September 2011. The over 220 unit residential skyscraper, which will be one of the Philippines’ tallest at 250 meters, is now 67 percent sold. “We’ve had phenomenal sales over the past 6 months,” says Mr. Robbie R. Antonio, Century Properties Managing Director and Trump Tower Manila Project Head.“We are elated with the overwhelming success of Trump Tower Manila and it signifies that Manila is steadily becoming a true international and world-class city. The region is likewise conscious about the superior quality and high standard of excellence and luxury that the Trump brand stands for. The Trumps are very pleased with the development’s progress and Century is proud that this project will be the latest addition to the renowned Trumpbranded projects all over the world.” A large number of the development’s buyers are well-heeled Filipino professionals based both locally and abroad, many of them from the Asia-Pacific region as well as the Middle East, United States, and Europe. Eric Trump, Vice President for Development and Acquisitions of the Trump Organization said,“We are overwhelmed with the tremendous success of this project in such a short time. Having 67 percent of a project sold before breaking ground and even prior to opening a showroom speaks of the strength of the local market and its increasing demand in the ownership of luxury real estate. There is no question that this will be the best residential building in the Philippines and beyond.”

Philippine-owned businesses, education and common sense is what you need, not icons such as Pacman. Just because Pacman, Has plenty of money thats don't mean his going to give it all to the poor. That is not his responsibility. But I can tell you this his alot better compare to alot of politician! You have to remember one thing Pacman only went in 3rd grade but I'll give him 100% on his scoring for being such a good person and having a heart of gold. You said you're not filipino how the hell you know how filipino people lives! The only thing you know is philippines is a very poor country and have alot of squarters... who only want a hand out from other country like u.s.a. I'am not proud of that but filipinos has been helping u.s.a since WWII not atleast you don't know that. Yes, There is lots of poor people in the philippines, Because we have a very poor and corrupt government. If is not for the OFWS money remittance sending back home the philippines already went down in the midle of the ocean.

Crooks,...crooks....crooks ! This word seems too common here in the Philippines, starting with most Politicians who are callous to peoples opinion of them. These guys have no shame,...all that matters to them is today, No God, no dignity no interest with their jobs but the money they make. What has come over these people ? May God have mercy on them !

All these boils down to GMA's nine years of fleecing the Philippines. She had control of everything for nine long years. Nine very long years of robbing the peoples money and making her cohorts rich. She needed them to perpetuate her Queenship. Those closest to her even got richer for their expertise and became multi-millionaires. Her husband much more so. Lesser people were just pawns for her. Thank God , he sent us a man who may not appear like a Superman but I seem to feel that the man may be what our country needs to clean up all the mess GMA left behind. Let us all pray to that since nothing else can lift our country out of the abbys but our strong belief in God !
