I agree. Everett has no where to go but UP! It can't make it any worse than it is now and it could actually make it better. In a nutshell...It can't hurt!

Yes I saw the drawing also - and it does look beautiful, no doubt about that aspect. However, I would like to see what improvements to the roads in that area look like. Where the entrances and exits? What about Santilli Circle, Rte 16 (east and west), traffic around Wellington Circle, lower Broadway - a date when the Alford Street bridge will be open on BOTH sides - not much progress in what ?? 3 yrs on that bridge and one side is not even completed ... Single lane traffic in both directions....
So yes, the drawings look great ... but please explain the traffic situation in detail please....

I caught the news and out of fatso's mouth is if the Casino is built and the layout they showed that all of Everett People would be able to walk to the casino from all main streets in Everett. He is a F'n looney bin. How do you walk to the casino built there is it by the rotary in Everett because its the only way I know. So he wants you to walk through that dangerous rotary with possibly getting hit by a car/vehicle of your choice. Then all the muggings cause all the muggers know you got money and will be going to the casino to gamble. He is talking out of his ass and needs to shut up about this Casino he wants for himself and knows nothing of what it will bring to Everett besides the $$$$$$$$ in his fat brain.
Please look at all the bad it will bring and not just the money it will bring.
Remember if its built it will be bad for Everett and any of us decent Everett citizens/tax payers left in the shit hole of a city.

First of all, all of these casinos, no matter how beautiful or where they are built, bring trouble.
I would never want Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun to build in MA because they already have poor management and are billions in debt in their other casinos in CT and PA and why bring that debt here to MA? As for bringing a casino to Everett, the area is a congested traffic area.
There would be more than muggings going on.
Riff raff would be bused in from all over and because Everett has been repeatedly described as third world, those buses will carry even more illegals here to breed. You know it and I know it.
Where would anyone of it help the economy?
One thing that the proposal has going, if allowed, that it would be built not too far from the Assembly Project and a train station is being built that could get people to the casino easier and safer than by car or foot traffic. Other than that, why would a casino put up its own mall in competition with a mall already being built next door that is already meant to rejuvenate the area? Seems like each would cancel out each other and no one will succeed.

There is no way ANYONE is dumb enough to think that the horribly designed rotary there could handle MORE traffic.
Unless they plan to re-do (AGAIN) that whole intersection,
the whole idea is a joke.
if they do decide to re-re-design the intersection,
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE hire a different contractor than we got for the "bridge project till the end of time" up the street!

if they got the "forever bridge" crew to build the casino,
we would be able to take those George Jetson Flying Cars to get there by the time its finished.
