Ortega says Honduras may try to provoke Nicaragua

Ortega cited no evidence in making the claims, which come as Honduras' interim leader dampened hopes for a negotiated solution to the country's crisis, capping days of mixed signals by saying firmly that there's no way the ousted president can return to power. Full Story

Ortega the Sandinista needs to stop and think who is provoking who. I think if Danny boy provides a border staging ground for a guerrilla attack on Honduras this would be the greater offense. Honduran forces have a right to protect their border and if a guerrilla stronghold is being staged across the border they have a right to stop these terrorists before more bloodshed is done. This is exactly what the US is doing in Afghanistan. Occasionally they will cross Pakistan to bomb a terrorist stronghold.

That article says Ortega is preparing for War. Ortega needs to stay out of it. Zelaya is proving to be nothing but trouble. Honduras has a right to defend their borders and to stop gorillas who intend to harm Hondurans.

And, where is their fearless leader while they are sleeping on the hard floor? His butt is parked in the hotel, or he is looking for news cameras to highlight his cowboy persona.

Zelaya doesn't care about those people, he uses their ignorance to advance his agenda!

Of course he doesnīt care...he already stated that he was going to resist even if it took ten years to put him back in power..I guess he forgot that his term would normally have ended January 27, 2010...guess it sort of gives away what his real agenda actually was after all.

The bottom line here is that there should not be any coup tolerance at all. Its the Hondurans army that needs to be ousted!

If you will educate yourself, you will acknowledge that the army carried out a lawful order.

The army admits that they made a mistake, and perhaps even broke the law, by sending him to exile in Costa Rica but, their motivation was to prevent violence with protesters within Honduras.

The military forces of Honduras aren't in control, and it has been clear since the beginning that this is/was a constitutional crisis, and that the civilian leadership is in control, with the support of the legislature, and judicial branch.

However, I'm not saying that you have your head in the sand but, rather suggesting that you look at it with an open mind, and educate yourself.

MGG, explain exactly how it is a coup when the Supreme Court signed an order to arrest him? Explain how it is a coup when the Congress voted to remove him almost unanimously. I will be waiting for your interesting explination on how a president cannot legally be removed from office in any form.

This is an open letter to Philip H Knight founder and co-owner of Nike

Democracy Now just completed interviews with President Mel Zelaya and his wife Xiomara. Amy Goodman hosted the interviews and she always speaks the truth. I challenge you to a debate with President Mel Zelaya hosted by Amy Goodman and have you defend the coup you and your business friends launched in Honduras. Then you paid Lanny Davis to justify the military dictatorship in Honduras. Lanny Davis would justify the final solution by Adolph Hitler if you slipped him a C note. Lanny Davis is Hillary Clinton's attorney so I guess we know why Hillary forgot what a military dictatorship is. President Zelaya made an excuse for Hillary saying she was just ignorant and needed to go to school again.

There is no excuse for you Mr moneybags Philip H Knight. You make your products in Honduras and pay the workers so little that 70% of the people face daily poverty and hunger. There are no safety nets, no pensions, no healthcare just death from your sweatshop. President Mel Zelaya saw the atrocity you created in your plant of death and raised the minimum wage 60% to give your workers a living wage. Your response to this token aid for your workers was "Launch The Coup Now....Out With the liberal President Zelaya ....bring in the dictator Micheletti". Then you called Lanny Davis and slipped him a C note". What is your next move if you don't like Obama you will launch another coup. Apparently Hillary has shunted Obama aside and taken over the role of Czarina of Latin America. Michelle Obama should give Hillary a heart to heart talk to remind her she has a boss named Obama. Yes Mr moneybags Philip H Knight it might be required for you to stop robbing the Honduran workers and the American workers. Why don't you return the $6 BILLION fortune you stole from Honduras workers

Two conversations with Honduras people: Martha Serrano is a worker faced with daily poverty and hunger. Roxy Miranda Moss is a member of the elite driving a big car from her mansion to her yacht. She routinely complains of beggars in the streets and honks her horn at the dirty beggars.

Hi Martha Serrano, If you have 50 members in your family you should have 50 votes for the new congress. The military coup is collapsing as we speak because the people are rebelling and "Democracy Now" broadcast an interview by Mel Zelaya to 800 American radio & TV stations hosted by Amy Goodman (Amy always speaks the truth). Please go to and listen to http://www.democracynow.org/ We need you in congress! We need humble determined people like you in the Honduran congress.

Hi Roxy Miranda Moss, Your government is now a facist military dictatorship controlled by USA neo cons! When democracy is restored then you may argue. NO DEMOCRACY, THEN THERE MUST BE WAR! SOME PEOPLE IN USA KNOW WHAT A DEMOCRACY IS! Hillary does not!

Democracy Now...could any newssource be more biased? How about non biased sources and stop trying to assert you know something you clearly do not..btw Zelaya had very little understanding about what is constitutional and what is not...he barely graduated high school and was kicked out of college for not getting above a 36% score two semesters in a row...and it was his first two semesters...bawhahahah and this is the person you think knows more about law and can ignore supreme court rulings? I hope dear that you are faced one day with a president who decides to ignore Roe V Wade and tells you that the Supreme court doesnīt know what they are talking about and he is going to implement his own laws..I am going to sit back and watch you howl and I am going to laugh my rear off and remind you of your previous attitude and why you have no right to complain

You cannot even understand why we arenīt facist you certainly arenīt an authority on anything
Facist governments are totalitarian...no elections bud..we have an election happening Nov 29 with candidates that were chosen before this mess by primaries.
We have an intact Congress and Supreme Court...both things that facists donīt allow..Italy had a facist regime maybe you need to study the differences.
People should not throw around words at others that they do not fully understand the definition of.

If I understood your post correctly, you'r PO'd because Nike is taking advantage of the economic classes in Honduras, is that correct?

Not unlike the economic model in the United States but, this has absolutely nothing to do with Zelaya trampling on the constitution of Honduras!

He is blaming Nike...there isnīt a Nike plant here...the plant is owned by a Honduran family and has been since 1920 and produces more than just Nike, they also produce Gap,ect.
The evil Knights have donated over $535 million of their fortune to causes like education and cancer...some evil folks they are and not to mention evidently Billy doesnīt know that Knight hasnīt been the CEO of Nike since 2004.

The first two things I notice about your link immediately is first it is a US born link because it does not end in hn. and instead ends in org...that immediately makes me suspicious secondly it says honduran campesino which means that the person who created the site used the word campesino to make themselves look legit..but didnīt know that the word isnīt Honduran it is Hondureņo.
Also your site doesnīt mention that it doesnīt matter what the ballot was about it is illegal for him to call any ballot period...it is illegal and you cannot in any country that is democratic just ignore the Supreme Court.
Ironically we have land in Olancho not far from Catacamas...and the campesinos never heard of your group.
Also, your links are to Reuters and Narco News and none of the local papers...so the site is clearly not Honduran...also what stands out is you are asking for donations of money but arenīt even a campesino...
Also, you call expats from Honduras liars...ironic since they are clearly not wealthy if they are in the US.-Furthermore, your site is not registered with the Honduran government as a non profit....so that tells me you are a fraud.
You also foolishly believe that Catacamas is a rural area...nope it is a city..the second largest in Olancho and campesinos donīt live there...they live in areas like San Cristobal de Vallecito..where we have our property, it is 1 hour from the city and you cannot reach it without a four wheel drive and there is NO electricity or running water. You certainly do not live in Honduras and did you get written permission to use those pics because it is a crime if you didnīt.
Someone calls themself Patuca warrior but if they were really in Patuca they would not be posting online...why? well there isnīt power, internet or running water in Patuca...my uncle lives there and was at one point the alcalde of this very rural very poor village.
Oh and I am not the same La Gringa...but a different one...so perhaps you have us confused and you might think that she doesnīt put pictures on line because of the danger of doing such a thing...You speak about defamation yet you have not once mentioned the violations of law by ZElaya, that he ignored the SC which is against the law, nor have you once referred to the constitution of Honduras...and yet you use your site to defame others. I suspect since you are not registered that you are a fraud site that is using this political situation to STEAL and CON and not bother with any campesino...after all...you thought that Catacamas was a rural area...shows you donīt know what you are talking about...and I will take your site to the MP for investigation since you are not a registered entity with the Honduran government and I am also going to file a complaint with the Trade Commsision since your site is registered in the USA.
I also warn you if you are an American and involving yourself in violent protests you will be deported...but again since your site isnīt Honduran...I suspect you are a fraud. If not then why donīt you have your govt registration number on your site?Oh that is right you arenīt registered as a non profit.

exactly John Roberts...thanks to who is...I found his registry to be with a site known as godaddy.com ....they are known for having frauds use them to host sites...however, it showed where he registered from...tsk, tsk..I hate fakes who use the poor to make themselves rich especially when they do nothing for the poor...too bad for him that my husband was raised in Olancho. I even called several people I know in the area and no one has ever heard of him.

Summermoondancer, why don't you call me in Olancho? As for being a fraud, you have no clue. A site doesn't need to be registered in hn to discuss the plight of the campesinos. Most people know that hosting a site in faster countries is better than slower countries without internet. How does hosting it anywhere outside of HN make us a bad site? As for knowing people, you don't seem to mention anyone by name that you know. As such, you have no claim to Olancho at all.

If you want to talk via phone email me and I will send you a number. If not, your argument is fake. As for calling authorities, you must be joking. In any place in HN you can call them all day for murders and they will just hang up on you. You are funny saying as if you will call someone. You are a Micheletti supporter, because if you truly lived in Olancho, you wouldn't dare talk about anyone else but Zelaya. Call Zelaya a fraud in Olancho would be tantamount to rebellion and or treason.

I laugh at your lunacy. Email if you dare. If not, close your lid and sit down.
