Student treks to Everest to help trafficked children get home
#1 Mar 2, 2012
Although Canadians are faced with our own poverty and human rights issues, the difference is that Canada is a cash-rich government who can afford to focus on improving the well-being of Canadians with persausion coming from voters. Citizens of cash-poor developing countries/governments with few financial resources, such as Nepal, are the poorest of the poor and funds from outside of their country is a blessing. Congrats to Christina who chose to spend her March break, not relaxing, but giving back to the country she is travelling to.

..... Oh Yeah? As long as there are perennial deficits the obvious conclusion must be that not enough money is flowing into the government to at least pay for all its spending, so that the missing money must be borrowed, and the debts go up and up.
