In Kelantan...there is no Sport/Toto, Magnum and other "legalized" gambling dents.

No liquor selling on open shelves....
When I was working for Hitachi some 15 yrs ago, I brought my Japanese director to Kelantan for a visit to Kota Bharu. His complaint was..."Hoteru...biru arimasen ne.." (No beer in the hotel!)...off cause none at any supermarket...and I had to take him to a Chinese restaurant.

Night Clubs are for "members" (or Guests) only...usually for non-Muslims in Kota Bharu (...and they continue to support PAS)

Radzi, now there is a city named Cukai? Lol!(another Penang city?)

Do they pay any special tax?

6 miles from KB there is a beach called Pantai Cahaya Bulan, I like the old name Pantai Cinta Berahi better. I think muslim rulers that came later were a little too 'sensitive' and ruled too much.

Cukai is in Kemaman, Terengganu. He is on his way back to Penang from Kelantan I think. Now is school holiday in Malaysia. But then, by next week may be some ex-MP which lost the election need to consider becoming back as teacher.

Just Me,

I am back in Penang.

I have no idea why it is called Cukai, but it is in the Port City of Kemaman, Terangganu.

Comfirmed...Barisan National cheated the people to retain their rule in Terangganu.

Strangely well above (~16% more) voters turn-out in Terangganu. Two places in #N22 and #N10 have turn-out of 88.84% and 88.77% respectively

Fraud.

I did not vote...since I knew the result of compact Chinese vote for the opposition....and they told me the truth.

Cukai means tax, like taxation. Doesn't sound so exotic now is it?

Just Me,

What I meant is that a Chinese friend of mine had told me earlier that Penang Chinese picketed to vote for opposition (even PAS!)

I knew the Chinese will listen to their "tauke", thus I felt I better head to East Coast to see actions there....pre-election days...Thus I took off on the 6th (to East Coast).

I was suppose to vote in Bukit Mertajam...and I was going to vote for opposition too....and since BM is Chinese majority (both state and parliment), my 1 vote did not matter!

Yeap...they prove their words.
