The 12 words used to describe Bad Luck Obama's Recover Summer Plan part douche:

1- Presumptuous:
He demanded – 17 times – that Congress immediately pass a bill no one has seen.

2- Tired:
The speech contained little new, just mostly recycled ideas or extensions of current programs that haven’t worked.

3- Small:
Its proposals, while expensive, offer little hope of really jump-starting the economy.

4- Mind-boggling:
Mr. Obama wants to drains hundreds of billions from Social Security for another stimulus.

5- Slippery:
It will all be paid for, the president said, but it’s up to a Congressional committee to figure out how.

6- Misleading:
These were just GOP ideas. Really? Republicans have proposed another $450 billion stimulus bill, Mr. Obama?

7- Arrogant:
He refused to consult in advance with anyone on the Hill, even refusing a meeting request from the House Speaker and Majority Leader.

8- Self-centered:
The only job he’s really concerned about is his own. If he really wanted a bipartisan package, he would have worked with Republicans to come up with one.

9- Unnecessary:
The president would have been better off traveling the country this week to lay out proposals, surrounded by people he could claim would might benefit.

10- Completely political:
Before he spoke, Mr. Obama sent supporters an email titled “Before I head to the Capitol” that ended with “You should donate today.”

11- Hyper-partisan:
This speech – especially its angry tone – was aimed at setting up the Republicans for blame next fall. Then he’ll say the economy would be better if the GOP has just done what I ordered them to do.

12- Misguided:
Mr. Obama is betting his re-elect on a massive spending bill.

WHERE ARE THE JOBS BLOBAMA?

Obama's favorability rating is now upside down in the Siena poll, with 54 percent having an unfavorable opinion of Obama and only 43 percent viewing him favorably.

A remarkable 38 percent of Democrats and 68 percent of independents hold an unfavorable view of the president.

Yep; Obama SUCKS that Bad.

Well, tax cuts didn't improve the economy. Hey here is idea that would work. Raise taxes to pay off debts and provide jobs! We can build mass transit lines, fight global warming, hire teachers, build homes for the homeless. There is a ton of benefits to higher taxes, we just need to vote out the republican'ts and let President Obama do what we elected him to do.

It's not clear how building transit lines, "fighting" global warming, hiring teachers, or building more houses (can't sell the ones we've got) will improve the economy.

It puts people to work so they can pay taxes and buy things and donate to worthy causes. But you already knew that Brother.

Why should the government spend money to build more houses we don't need just so people will get a paycheck to pay more taxes?

Why not instead pay unemployed people to hop on one foot?

It's better for the environment than needless construction, all the money is going directly to where it's needed (a poor man's back pocket), and most folks are overweight (even the poor) and could benefit from burning calories.

Why not use the tax revenue to pay off the federal debt directly, send the check straight to China?

Why not donate the tax revenue directly to "worthy causes" rather than trusting folks not to blow their paycheck on beer and cigs?

And you think raising taxes will cover that cost?

Look up the 1984 Grace Commission and their determination on where tax revenues go.

Reading your statements shows you have no clue about money, how it is used, and where it comes from.

I think Governor Deal has a good idea. Crack down on illegal immigration and help transition Georgians from unemployment to productive farm jobs. If farm labor were performed by legal citizens, they would have the leverage to demand better pay. There are also economic benefits to growing more crops domestically and exporting the surplus.

The idea that if the government gives all our tax money to businesses it will create more jobs is clearly not true. They have had the Bush tax cuts for many years and all they did was put our money in thier treasurys. They also built plants in China with our tax money. They also were exempted from import tarriffs under so called "free trade"lobbyists insisted on.(bribed).Do the Republicans really think voters are too stupid to know this is what happened to our tax money? If the President's Jobs bill is not accepted in its entirety, there will be some politicians in the unemployment lines right behind us.I suggest they wear old clothes to hide thier identitys and don't drivr thier Cadillacs.
