Irish Man Walking is about my walking the coastal roads of Japan -- by Michael Denis Crossey : Although many people have walked from top to bottom, or across Japan, as far as we have researched, Micheal is the only foreigner to attempt the amazing feet of walking around the entire coastline roads of Japan. He has been walking for 3 years now, and is sharing his story exclusively with JapanBackpacker.com . Read his latest entry here: http://www.japanbackpacker.com/content.php...
Or read his journey from the start here: http://www.japanbackpacker.com/content.php...

Greetings Pete:
It is not the second largest coastline as someone wrote, but the fifth, I think. You are welcome to read my road-notes on < japanbackpacker.com > I am still walking, but now resting my left knee. This summer I will be back in Kyushu to continue my walk around the Japan.

Hi there Michael! how you doing? you probably don't remember me. I'm a Spanish guy who met you in Fukuoka city last summer, probably on Augost. I thought you were 'lost' in the city wearing your big backpack and tried to help you. I even gave you my map of Fukuoka!

well, we had a nice chat and you recomended me to read about your awesome trip on the internet. Suddenly, today I've reminded of it and tried to visit it but unfortunately it looks like today the site is not available. At least, from Spain. is it any proble with the web site? I hope I can read about your trip soon!

it was a great expercience to meet you there. cheers!

Greetings Guille from Spain:

Thank you for your surprise e-mail, which I came across by accident. I seldom visit this site.

Of course, I remember you and think you for your map. It was a good help. One site that publishes my road notes is called: SelfGrowth.com , of course under the name: Michael Denis Crossey and/or Irishman Walking, but no photos. You can see some photos on Flicker that I uploaded. Then there is Facebook under the name: Michael Denis Crosseyes. Lots of places on the Internet publish my road-notes. The site I gave you: Japanbackpacker.com is currently being rebuild.

All the best and feel free to contact me at: onlymyredwine@hotmail.com

Michael
