I just read your article and loved it. I'm not an archaeology student, but I've been searching for digs to volunteer for or some time now. Are there any groups or organizations you recommend? Is it required to have experience? I would like to go in the summer, but don't have experience.

Why don't you send me your picture? We could chat about this, maybe "dig an exploratory trench" so to speak.
