The Christians are "grateful" for the lifting of restrictions.
What else can they say with the police doing regular checks on Christians and to check Baptism certificates to see if they are genuine Christians.
This all is just harassment to recieve bribes.

Malaysia is the 3rd most corrupt country in the world with regard to the outflow of illegal money.
This is usually money transferred to foreign banks by the politicians to the exclusion of money available for the citizens of that country.
i.e. theft. Remember where the trillions in wealth of the islamic countries is stored, not in their own countries.

What a country, what a "religion".
Islam, a sham.
Islam, a blot upon the history of mankind.

Let's ask why Christian baptism certificates are checked in Islamic countries: to see if they had converted from Islam or not.
If they had converted then serious trouble ensues:
Reliance of the Traveller, Book o, Chapter 8.7 lists 20 acts which entail apostasy. o8.1 specifies the penalty for apostasy.

o8.1 When a person who has reached puberty and is sane voluntarily apostatizes from Islam, he deserves to be killed.

o8.2 In such a case, it is obligatory for the caliph (A: or his representive) to ask him to repent and return to Islam. If he does, it is accepted from him, but if he refuses, he is immediately killed.

Does any non-Muslim country have restrictions on religious freedom (excluding China). No.

Islam, a sham.
Islam, a retardation in the history and advancement of mankind.
Islam, the dark ages continue for a billion people.

Islam, several million of those billion Muslims are living a paradise on earth thanks to Islam.
There are now more servants, maids etc in Kuwait than there are Kuwaiti citizens.
