i grew up near huntington and loved it there now after 45 years i was just back there looking for a vacation home i could afford and was supprised how run down huntington has become. kenova on th other hand has remained a clean and nice looking place so may buy there but i still love Huntington and hope and pray that the pols will clean up the town and put it back to where it once was

in 1994 I wrote to Letters To the Editor..back then I found my town in such dispair I wrote that the flood gates should be left open and let the next flood finish off Huntington, one poor soul wrote back and said I was mean to wish death on the people of the city,well Duh! get out of town
