There are 2 comments on the Moonbattery story from Jan 26, 2010, titled Congressional Copenhagen Junket: Money Well Spent. In it, Moonbattery reports that:

Well spent, that is, if you think that $2,200 per person per day is a reasonable cost for 21 members of Congress to travel to a "Climate Summit" in Denmark that ranks with President Obama as one of the supreme FAILs of 2009.

Another great example of how all of those gov't officials are spending money without evening thinking. They don't care because it is every American that is paying for them to goof off. They did not accomplish anything except a free trip.$1000/night with a 6 night minimum and they only stayed 2 nights??? Why not, if you don't have to foot the bill, who cares. They obviously don't. Vote them all out in November!!!

I think we the Taxpayers should send the officials a bill to cover the cost of their junkets.

Every taxpayer needs to flood the officials office with bills for repayment.
