Those "protected" bike lanes will only offer limited protection. Roughly 75 percent of the city of Chicago, including Downtown, the Loop, and the entire lakefront from Lawrence Avenue (4800 north) all the way south through Gary, Indiana, is all endless ghetto. Overflowing with relentless violent crime, especially shootings, armed robberies, and everything else. In many of those neighborhoods, cyclists are not even safe on the sidewalk! The Chicago ghetto is not only massive and endless, it is loaded with the kind of criminals that will shoot you for your bicycle. The kind that immediately open fire upon seeing you ride by, and they do not cease fire until you fall off your bicycle and lay bleeding on the pavement. Then they take off with your bike and leave you for dead. Those protected lanes may offer protection from cars and such, but never in your wildest pipe dreams will they ever protect you from flying bullets! And by the way, bicycle helmets also offer absolute ZERO protection from flying bullets!

But... But... but guns aren't allowed in Chicago.

How can any of this happen?

Chicago is just another black ghetto, why people continue to live in that garbage is beyond me. Now before you liberal pimps jump up, I was born and raised in Chicago, went to Amundsen High School, on Damon and Lawrence and was smart enough to see what the place was becoming and this was in 1952. You couldn't go to the State and Lake or the Chicago theater's because the black trash flooded the streets. The only places near Chicago that people can live a semi-safe life is Glenco, Wilmette or Winnetka as far up the north shore as you can get. I remember Nate Batts, a great place to eat down near 22 and Canal. I'm more than sure that they left long ago. Black garbage has turned Chicago into another Detroit, just waiting for the axe to fall. Round them up and deport all the worthless trash. OH, take the pimp Mayor with them.

Hey!... Cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine are illegal in the entire United States of America, straight from Washington DC! But practically every major city in the United States of America has neighborhoods that are flooded with those exact same illegal drugs. Drug runners/dealers know that what they do is a federal crime, so they use very weird, and even sick and disgusting ways of transporting/smuggling illegal drugs! They have people that swallow the drugs in latex balloons, condoms, etc, and use their own gastrointestinal tracts as a drug transport vehicle. People who are more commonly known as "drug mules." When caught, drug runners on the street sometimes run from the police or even resist arrest (as evident in John Bunnell's TV program "World's Wildest Police Videos"). If people smuggle illegal drugs into America, then how much harder could it be to smuggle guns into Chicago?

All across America, the cities with the strictest gun control laws have the highest crime rates.

How's that compute?
