Of course it isn't, they just can't account for it all, and the apathetic search to find it says it all.

Hope everyone enjoyed this tax season, Ottawa did, more fun money to play with.

Dear friends,

Staggering new estimates suggest that 100,000 people may have died in Burma's terrible cyclone. Incredibly, the corrupt and brutal Burmese government has stopped most international aid at the borders and is impeding the relief effort.

In under 24 hours, Avaaz members have donated over 690,000 Euros (over US$1 million – more than many governments!) to help Burma's monks provide the emergency relief, through their own networks and monasteries, that the government will not.

possibly Scrolling down their Link(s) will allow you to see the email sent yesterday with all the details of how they say they can help, via clicking below...

Burma vote likely to solidify junta's power
Burma held a referendum Saturday that will likely solidify the ruling junta's hold on power, even as it appeared overwhelmed by a devastating cyclone that killed tens of thousands of people.

RANGOON, Burma – Burma's military rulers held a referendum today aimed at solidifying their hold on power while brazenly turning cyclone relief efforts into a propaganda campaign. In some cases, generals' names were scribbled onto boxes of foreign aid before being distributed...
