Sunk Dive boat at Port Douglas could just be an aluminium hull using shore power without proper protection?

At the moment it can boast a dual purpose. Not only has it been dived from, it is also dived on.

Yes, that is the usual reply that indicates that the problems with aluminium hulls are not understood.

One night connected to shore power without proper protection can result in the vessel sinking. Not a problem just try to understand the elctro-chemistry involved.

No. Do explian. I am a die hard Yachtie but have only experience with fibreglass. I have been on Ali fishing boats but only day trips.
I understand electrolysis but but overnight sinking we could all hear about. Is it to do with the yachts grounding to shore?
