Genroku 1703, forearc & arc.
Kanto 1923, forearc & arc.
Both crustal relaxation events with relatively small tsunami.
Fuji is located in the backarc curl near the tightening Japan alps megathrust.
Possibility of a magma filled fracture arriving from IZU-Genroku and getting through the compressed backarc to reach Fuji is relatively small.
Tohoku 2011 compressed the crust @ Fuji.
Will keep watching that space.
Have a nice day: Ag
