The blogger is ignorant of real Burmese history.
Burma was not under so-called ' British' from 1824 to 1948.
First Anglo-Burmese war was 1824-1826. Burmese lost and English annexed Yakhine (Rakhine) that is now facing very serious problems with Bengali muslim immigrants.
Also annexed was the southern tail of Burma called Tanintharyi.
These account for a very small percentage of Burma's land mass.
Then after the second Anglo-Burmese war, circa 1856, coloniser English annexed the delta region, that is very fertile.
Only at end of 1885, beginning of 1886 the English, annexed the rest of Burma, deposing bastard king Thibaw, who was not a son of King Mindon. The English sailed up the river Irrawaddy with Indian troops, may be 10000, to Mandalay and seized the royal palace.
Italian engineers had laid mines on the river bed but a Burmese traitor called Maung Ba offered his arse to the English just like SuuKyi offered her pussy to an English monkey called Michael Aris.
Maung Ba showed the English where the mines were. He was the forerunner of Burmese traitors today, who suck up to the English and support traitor SuuKyi ARIS.
To say Burma was under the British 1824 to 1948, 124 years is GROSS EXAGGERATION.
Factually wrong.
The truth is all Burma was under British rule from 1886 to 1948. January to January, 63 years.
So all Myanmar patriots must counter the errors of arsehole non-Burmese journalists and bloggers misleading the readers, belittling the Burmese.
And all Burmese traitors must be educated to become Burmese patriots and reject Traitor SuuKyi ARIS.
The fighting peacock will continue fighting with energy and intelligence.
Finally there is no such nation as Britain. Great Britain, as opposed to 'little Britain, Brittany,is a geographical name of the island.
The English concocted the notion of 'British' to expand the empire. Scotland is one of the few remaining English colonies, fighting for independence.
Get it?
England has no indigenous royalty. So it imported German Hanovarians.
Real English royalty, Plantagenet descendant is a sheep farmer in Australia.
