Funny thing is he has three months to go and he cannot dismiss or reassign or anything...he is done ..he announced in the same location that he wasn´t returning to Honduras so that means he is accepting that he isn´t president...unless he thinks that elections are going to pass and the world is still going to insist on him being reinstated as president..he would be sadly mistaken..btw, we withdrew from ALBA and any relations with those countries that comprise ALBA so there would not be any relations with them anyway...

What was an ambassador who decided to support Micheletti still doing in Argentina if they were part of ALBA?

I suppose they have left most in place with the exception of a very few because while we did vote to leave ALBA almost immediately after Zelaya´s removal...we didn´t abandon relations with a few of the countries...perhaps that is why. However, some of it may be it is just more prudent to not make waves until the new government is elected and Zelaya is rendered illegitmate...in the end he is just causing more confusion because the people who he nominates cannot really act in any function because Micheletti´s government doesn´t recognize them...so they cannot complete consular functions.

update...two delinquents who had broken into a local business in Barrio Andes were shot by a customer when they tried to rob the store...the customer responded killing one and seriously hurting the other...it seems they picked the wrong store to rob...

This doesn't sound good...

The consuls of San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and Washington were separated to refuse to declare their loyalty to Manuel Zelaya.

Yeah I saw that and cannot help but wonder if that means he is about to be replaced...either he didn´t have permission to go to Nicaragua which is what I understand...or he lied to the Dept of State and Congress..a big no no that can get you jail time..he is trying to classify it as a personal time trip..yeah right..everyone already knows he was called right after the trip to Washington and the meeting by the commission with Hillary and Insulza...something tells me he is in the dog house.
In the end it really doesn´t matter what they do with the councils ect for right now..they are all lame ducks anyway when the next administration takes office they would be replaced as is tradition...and that is months away.Personally I think we should close them all down for the moment.

And who in hell wants to be an embassador to Argentina, The president of Argentina is a great friend of Hugo Chavez (petro$$$) Chaves contributed around 2 million dollars for her campaign. But ofcourse, I will do anything for hugo; he is the one with the petro$$ The entire ALBA countries, are getting a piece of the pie.Petro$$ Little by little, this monster of Chaves is sweeping good countries under his feet. I fell bad for the good venezuelan people trying their hardest to have freedon of speech, but I think is a bit late. Thank good Honduras Army was overly alert and acted rapidly to avoid catastropy. If the people of Argentina are not alert, they will be part of hugo chaves.

actually I believe the good people of Argentina threw Kitchner´s husband and half of her hooligans out of Congress this last election so she is on short and borrowed time..

I met the consul general, and the vice consul of the Honduran embassy in Houston this year, and now I wonder what position they are taking, whether they support Zelaya?

I don´t know but I know that the consuls have been decertified by the government here if they were appointed by Zelaya they aren´t allowed to do anything that is official business of Honduran government, submit passports, submit birth certificates, ect. They also are not going to be allowed to participate in the election process. The elections tribunal is going to travel to the US to handle it...because Zelaya cohorts cannot be trusted.

I read that yesterday but, I didn't understand the reasoning behind it.

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Sagittarius

You'll feel friendly with everyone you meet today, and you might even be lucky financially. Money should be coming in, but going out rather fast as well... Astral influences will keep you on your toes, and will probably make you flirtatious, but they could also make you moody. This makes it tricky for close relationships to run on an even keel. The truth is, perhaps you don't want too much closeness at the moment. Your partner probably knows that you're often like this, by now, anyway.
