Mine,What goes around comes around...eventually. How sad you and those corrupt board members could do this not only to the federal government, but to the children of our territory who need these literacy programs.

How could you all do this as well to those staff members...The honest, and hardworking people who actually provided accountability, transparency and success of the AmeriCorp programs in our territory's educational system...and the need for further sustainability???

How could you greedy bastards do this??!!
Simple. You whole lot of damned fools aren't REAL educators and you dont give a rip about jack, except trying to live under the self imposed perception of wealth(at the expense of others) fueled by greed and unmistakeable stench Vanity.

The DOJ's recent offering of a Plea Agreement in this matter is beyond disconcerting! They will not further prosecute other named persons and an unamed co-conspirator, PERSON A, as long as Sunia-Pase has entered a guilty plea...and the co-conspirators go scott free, without much of a single hair on their heads singed by this heinous and intentional act to embezzle and defraud the Federal government and not excluding US taxpayers and citizens???

This is so reminiscent of older brother FOFO Sunia's(his short lived tenure as Delegat@Large in Washington) stint in federal prison...pleading guilty and taking the fall, to protect more so others who were involved in the creation of so called shady "Ghost" companies...funneling monies..falsified lease payments etc.

What of it? It was just a slap on the wrist...but this was only the begining of the Sunia name being dragged into the muddy limelight...within their service in public office. Followed by Tau'ese himself, his brother 'Aitofele (...now taking FAOA as title since dragging the previous family title into the mud)...AND now Mine.

Ua toe nonofo lava outou e fa'aleaga outou igoa ma galuega lelei 'a outou matua..sa fepunoua'i 'e tautua matavela i le atunu'u...i le tala'iga o le tala lelei.

PLEA BARGAINING...especially with these so soooo very public figures is nothing more but placing them under a protective and sheltered umbrella of convenience. It should synonymously go with a blaring phrase which reads... "ONLY IN AMERICAN SAMOA...CRIME PAYS HUGE DIVIDENDS! COME ONNNNN DOWN!
EQUAL JUSTICE...isn't what it is cut out to be. It is quite tainted. It is justice towards the rest of socity’s regular…common citizens, EXCLUDING Public officials.

What message in general are you giving out DOJ???
Why even prosecute if you aren't going to do it right?
The proverbial cloak of immunity is not going to erase or lessen the crimes. It doesn't have the power of silence and invisibility. WE(THE PEOPLE) can still..HEAR and SEE through it. Maybe you should try an iron or steel curtain.
No woner people's faith in the adjudicative process...jegal system, is Waning.
What a damn shame.
