American Airlines expands its reach in Latin America

Fort Worth-based American is adding a route between Bogota, Colombia, and Dallas/Fort Worth in late 2013, service between Miami and two cities in Brazil - Curitiba and Porto Alegre - and has struck codesharing deals with Sao Paulo, Brazil-based TAM Airlines and Bogota-based LAN Colombia.
