Number of Protestant Americans Is in Steep Decline, Study Finds

When they leave, instead of switching churches, they join the growing ranks who do not identify with any religion. Nearly one in five Americans say they are atheist, agnostic or “nothing in particular.”

Romney: Abortion not on my agenda
Mitt Romney said on Tuesday that he has no plans for abortion legislation if elected president, a statement that is more moderate than ones he's made on the issue in the past.
"There's no legislation with regards to abortion that I'm familiar with that would become part of my agenda," Romney told the Des Moines Register editorial board.
In an interview with an Ohio TV station during the heat of the Republican primary in February, Romney said he was "in favor of a pro-life policy." He noted that "the legislation that relates to abortion is something which is going to have to be approved by the Supreme Court," a body to which he would appoint nominees to fill any vacancies if he is elected.(cont.)

This man will say WHATEVER he thinks will get him elected. Then? It's anybody's guess, but I think the 1% can rest easy. Everybody else? I highly recommend you figure out how to be fully self-reliant. Order your heirloom seeds early!
I suppose that he's made up a separate campaign platform outside of his party. The platform adopted by his party during the convention was very clear about their condemnation for any type of abortion.

Mutt proves once again that rules, even his party's rules, don't apply to him.
