Nice story, She did not say anything about gangs.
There is probably a good reason she didn't.

So Ms Lambing visited Gettysburg, and had a nice visit. She enjoyed the trip and experienced none of the things you have been claiming happen here. But she is going to go home and read your trash and change her mind?

She will believe the trash you have been spreading and not believe what she has experienced herself?

She won't be back after she reads about the gangs and crime epidemic that has befallen Gettysburg.
Tourists should steer clear of this deadly cesspool
Women and children could get shot or stabbed in broad daylight.
It's a sick sick place.
Hopefully tourists read this before going to Gettysburg, and take their personal safety into account.

She stayed away from the gang territories. I'm sure the woman did her research and avoided the crime-ridden areas. Usually areas patrolled by park rangers are safe (at least during the day). She stayed indoors at night.
It's the only relatively safe way to visit Gettysburg. She is not a bonehead like the locals here who claim there is no crime epidemic.
Now a while back in all of your post, you claimed that there was not anyplace in the area that did not experience these gang problems, and now you say she avoided the areas that have gang activity.

In the article she and her family walked the square, and train station, as well as the Wills House. They took the auto tour, which runs through various portions of town, and they dined at the Farnsworth House. As I see it she probably traveled all over town during her visit.

And did you read the last line of the article?

“If anyone asked about my vacation this summer, I would proudly tell them all about my wonderful time visiting Gettysburg.”

Now please tell us all just where these gang infested areas are, so we can all avoid them, or maybe visit to see just what gang territory looks like.

Stop with your apologist BS, it's getting old. Gettysburg is one big sick, crime and gang infested spittoon.
So you can't tell me where these areas are?

Read the newspapers. The places where the murders and robberies and shootings and people being set on fire happen. Are you slow on the uptake?
I read three local papers every day, and have seen nothing. The only place I can find any "information" is the post you make here under several names, but you can never support your claims.

the biggest problem here is the Gettysburg crew who feels like they are entitled to misbehave and not expect anything negative in return. you all act like middle school kids and dont realize when you are being made fun of to your face.

You people do deserve the negative posts about Gettysburg.

Half of the troll postings are probably true, dont think your town is immune from gangs and that kind of thing.
