It was the visual of "you" (a mother if you will) sitting back in an armchair with her feet up on an ottoman, looking up at a Pollock and drinking a cup of coffee or tea.

I have memories of images of my mother (except it was a Dali not a Pollock) like that. So I guess it hit home on some level. LOL

not really..they gave as good as they got you know;on politics,diaspora,the yerevanites,the probelsm in TR and outside world..we never even for one moment think that they were any different then your average turkish citizen.even today they still hold many high positions in the turkish social circles and do business even with armenia itself but one thing they are good at is loyalty as they go to military service as we all did and get on with their lives.
