Hi all, I'd like to share my experience from our last holiday with you. After long deciding about our next travel destination, we went for Egypt. Reason? We wanted to combine relax with sightseeing and this was the best option. Egypt has one of the most various marine life in the world and the oldest civilization known.

We spent our time in Sahl Hasheesh near of Hurghada. Beautiful hotel (The Oberoi), perfect service and amazing landscape. We were treated like kings indeed.

About our sightseeing tours, we went for a local company called Red Sea Reisen recommended by our friends. Very good service. Nice staff, flexible, good prices. Our two trips with them were unforgettable. We went to Cairo by plane, which seemed to be more comfortable than travelling 6 hours in a bus. And really, in one hour we were in Cairo and had more time to enjoy the city. We were not tired as we had enough time to sleep and we were not stressed about the return journey. We saw the Pyramids with the Solar Barque Museum as well, Egyptian National Museum with the Royal mummies, after a lunch we visited Citadel with the Alabaster mosque (amazing view!) and at the end we had time to walk through the narrow streets of Khan El Khalili. Of course, it is a must to drink tea with the local sellers and to make some good deals with them ;)

Our next trip was to Luxor & Aswan. We were positively surprised by the hospitality and friendliness of the people, especially in the Nubian villages on the Elephantine Island were we had our lunch, followed by a felucca ride. Just romantic! We felt the history breathing on us from all sides and we just didn't have enough from these magical places.

Egypt is in all cases worth visiting. It offers everything you need. Sun, sea, amazing underwater life, culture, history and much more. Our next trip will be probably to Sharm El Sheikh as we'd like to travel to Israel and Petra. ;)
