Dear clueless, its not 9B. really, gas hit $4.15??
Go and thank your muslim friend worldwide for raising the prices, you know, THEY own the oil. The US were never asked to fight for Israel and they never did, as a matter of fact no any other country ever fought for Israel. Thank you very much we do take care of ourselves very good.
wrong andy.
when sadaam sent scud missiles into israel, american came the rescue. america supplies the bulk of the military equipment to israel at little or no cost. we even paid 1/2 for 2 submarines that israel bought from germany. as an american, i dont care for my tax dollars to go to this cause and i think that more and more americans are beginning to think the same way.

No, the question is what is wrong with you??
That's fine. Have it your way--just stop picking the pockets of the American taxpayer so that you can steal land from the Palestinians and start wars with everyone. Why don't you guys just row your own boat and stop begging for money from us?

All that we get from our relationship with you is the enmity of the rest of the world and people flying planes into our buildings.

So stupid, to equate 'the enmity of the rest of the world' to crazy, insane fundamentalist Islamic nutcases ......

You have no credibility until you also call for the petro countries of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, and Iran to ceast and desist the $90-120 BILLION they have spent on spreading hate, violence, support of suicide bombers, terrorist militants, and incitment of anti-western, anti-Jewish, anti-Christian, anti-democractic theology.

Only an idiot and a fool would believe that the children of Beslan in Russia were slaughtered by insane Islamic terrorists over land in the Palestinian territories

Only a blathering epistemically U.S. centric narcissistic would suggest that crazy insane Islamic terrorists blew away the British and Aussie soccer players in Bali because of a dispute in the Palestinian territories

Or any of the other thousands of attacks

If you can, in all honesty, justify a group of crazy insane Islamic terrorists blowing up in smithereens a ferry boat load of little Philippino kids dressed in their communion clothes after going to mass and then say that it is because of the U.S. or Israel you are as insane as the crazy fundie Islamic terrorists yourself.

Methodist group claims responsibility for Philippine bus bombing -- no, wait...
Scratch that. It wasn't Methodists after all. It was, of all things, an Al-Qaeda-linked Muslim group. Didn't they get the new US government guidelines about not linking Islam with terrorism?

"Muslim militants-linked extortion gang says it caused Philippine bus bomb that wounded 5," from The Associated Press, May 9

MIDSAYAP, Philippines: A notorious extortion gang claimed responsibility Friday for detonating a bomb in a passenger van that wounded five people in the southern Philippines, a town mayor said.
Manuel Rabara, mayor of Midsayap township in North Cotabato province, told reporters he had received several calls from a man demanding money on behalf of his group before and after the bomb went off at a passenger terminal Thursday.

"We will not give in to their demand," Rabara said.

The homemade bomb, apparently detonated by cell phone, exploded while the van was about to begin a journey, police said. Five people were wounded, including a mother and her two children. The mother's feet may have to be amputated, said a doctor, Sanny Sandig....

Police believe the April attack, which caused no injuries, was the work of the Al-Khobar gang that has been targeting bus companies and other businesses.

Authorities said the group has ties to al-Qaida-linked Abu Sayyaf militants, notorious for bomb attacks and kidnappings for ransom....

ENTIRE ARAB-ISRAEL CONFLICT EXPAINED IN LESS THAN 20 LINES

According to Sharia law, waging Holy War of Extermination (Jihad) against Infidel nations is every Muslim's command, with Infidels given 3 choices:(a) Embrace Islam; (b) Submit to Islamic rule as oppressed Dhimmis (so-called "Binational State"); (c) Death and destruction. Any Arab ruler who breaks above rules faces "fatwa" of certain death. See Abdullah I of Jordan, Anwar Sadat, fate Arafat faced at Camp David II and Abu-Mazen faces today. There are only 3 ways to counter this:(a) Decisively defeat and expel Jihadist enemies beyond clear geographical barriers (happened in history only in Iberia, Sicily, Malta, Czarist Russia, Ottoman Europe); (b) Sign Truce (Hudna), which Jihadists may for up to 10 years, until able to restage same 3 threats more lethally; (c) Evacuate and emigrate to another land. There it is: Entire foundation of the Arab-Israel conflict (and 14 centuries of Arab Imperialism) in a nutshell... Everything else is just empty words!

Why so much opposition to a single Jewish state ?
Submitted by Geno M.(United States), May 9, 2008 at 11:09

Sam asks a thoughtful and intelligent question paraphrased as "[W]hy is there so much antagonism to the existence of a single Jewish State". I too have pondered this question for most of my life.

I have come to a sad and chilling conclusion that as a species, man has yet to fully evolve beyond a thirst for brutality and blood-lust. Throughout the scope of human history these tendencies have erupted with disturbing regularity--and typically against the more highly evolved and less violent elements. Sadly, Jews have long filled this role.

The Jewish faith is grounded in an ethos of learning, quiet contemplation, introspection, respect for self and compassion for the other. The fact that Israel today represents the sole example of a stable democratic entity in a roiling sea of Middle-Eastern discontent is evidence of this principle. In a perfect world, noble Aristotelian qualities, largely exemplified by Jewish thought (e.g. Maimonides), would be lionized as a model for human development.

In the world in which we find ourselves, those who embody these characteristics are mocked, ridiculed, feared and hated. We are but one generation removed from the horrors of the Nazi Holocaust. Tragically, the Jewish people faces even greater peril today. In 2008, the blood-lust against the Jew primarily manifests and is institutionalized within the principle and practice of Islam. Historically, Islam has cloaked hatred, inhumanity, intolerance and misogyny with the patina of religious imperative. "The Koran commands it so we must fulfill it". And because the Koran is littered with sunnah calling for the castigation and ultimate destruction of Jews, those who practice the Muslim faith have little to guide them in any direction other than the most vitriolic.

This backdrop sets in motion a remarkably dangerous momentum. Unlike Germany under Hitler, a frighteningly high proportion of contemporary Muslims believe that they are, quite literally, commanded by God himself (Allah) to defeat and destroy the Jews. Therefore, one begins to appreciate why the continued existence of a Jewish State in the midst of the otherwise Islamic hegemony represents a slap in the face to the Islamic Ummah. It is within this dynamic that perennial Islamic antagonism against the State of Israel churns.

Perhaps the only hope for the continued survival of Israel lies in a growing recognition by Christians, Buddhists, agnostics and all others, that Islam, like a deranged and insatiable wild animal, is intent upon the conquest of the entire non-Muslim world. To my mind, humanity is at a crossroads. We shall find ourselves on one of two paths. Either we will find the wherewithal to protect and defend our precious Western civilization against Islamization, or we will descend into 7th Century barbarism as specified in the holy Koran. I do not perceive a compromise solution exists between these two eventualities.

Let's keep in mind that Israel was founded by terrorists blowing up hotels, they engage in assinations all over the world and have the only nuclear stockpile in the Middle East though it is a "secret". So cut it with the self righteousness and sermonizing. The Palestinians would attack you with F16s and Cobras like you attack them if only they had any.

I ask all of you Zionist partisans, what do we get for giving Israel almost our entire foreign aid budget but the enminty of the world? Can we be right about this little outlaw country and the entire rest of the free world wrong?

Dont forgett to mention dear Dan of Chicago that the King David Hotel was partially blown up but before that the English were warned to get out of the Hotel. They laughed and ignored the warning and some of them died. Now , I would like to know what the hell the colonial, state stealing English were doing in the Holy Land?? Who the hell gave them permission to run the place?? Who the hell gave them permission to hang people?? Interesting to know that at the end the jews kicked out the glorious English gangsters from Israel. They were kicked out by a "good for nothing" rag tag group of young and old kids. England was part of the worlds problem, not the solution.
You dont know that Israel got a stockpile of nuclear weapons, you asume only. If its a secret I guess the Israeli government notified you of whats going on in Dimona. You must be some influental SOB. Tell your hammas friends in Gaza that if they dont kill people like yesterday with mortar fire there will be no reason to return fire. There are no zionists partisans now, you live in WW2 of Europe. Sorry, but the entire FREE world stands shoulder to shoulder with Israel.
Happy 60th Israel.
God Bless America.

No I am not a hypocrite like you are. I don't use loaded words like "terrorism" or "terrorist" to delegitimize my opponents when Israel itself was founded by terrorists.
As I said, if the Palestinians had F16s, Cobra attack helicopters and hellfire missiles they would not be strapping explosives to themselves and going into pizza parlors. If the Israelis did not have all of these weapons--bought and paid for with my taxes--then they too would be a strapping explosives to themselves.

So cut out the self righteousness and sermonizing about how Israel is good and anyone without their sopishisticated weaponry is evil. It is illogical.

Yes, we are right to engage in military and technology aid to Israel.

A better question is what does the world get for aid to UNRWA [United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East]

Here is a country by country list of contributions

http://www.israelipalestinianprocon.org/bin/p...

This list above does not come close to the TOTAL AMOUNT OF AID TO PALESTINIANS

The amounts above only reflect the aid given to Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza

The amounts above do not list contributions made by individual countries given through charities, educational institutions, and medical/surgical or developemental cooperative ventures ....
