I hate to be pessimist in this regard, however the bloody dictator of tiny Eritrea Isayass Afeworki knows no peace but, violence and tyranny. Isayass is using Ethiopia as a scarecrow by sending fears throughout the Eritrean populous, saying Ethiopia is take away your freedom and land, so therefore he keeps Eritreans on permanent war footing posture, as well as insuring a guarantee to his power grip.

I wish South Sudan the best of luck, as they have taken this daunting task.

Let us give peace a chance. Peace is when antagonistic parties sit and discuss how to resolve a problem. In regards to this Eritrea/Ethiopia issue there is no problem but the implementation of legal solutions both parties agreed to resolve their past problems.
So the light shines VERY BRIGHTLY at the end of the tunnel with LEGAL AND BIDING resolution, implement the EEBC ruling and vacate sovereign Eritrea land, I.E. BADME. Twisting this water-tight case to other dimension is turning the tables upside down.
