Late NBC newsman recognized with highway named in his honor

The portion of U.S. Route 20a is close to Buffalo, the hometown of Russert, the host of NBC's "Meet the Press" and its Washington bureau chief, who died of a heart attack June 13.

what a joke. He was a reporter for god's sake.
I'm sure he was a great guy, hard worker etc. etc. etc. but
I tired of seeing buildings, highways etc named after average
"nice" people who didn't do anything really noteworthy.

That ten miles of bad road outside his hometown?
Kind of a rough tribute, if you ask me,...
I think they should name a potato after him.

Man you people can't let it go - Quayle was just reading off a card the teacher gave him. Should he have questioned the teacher in front of the class? Why haven't I ever heard you people talk about how stupid Kennedy sounded when he put "r"'s in words - Ideer Warsh etc.
I went to a cafe in Michigan once and saw potatoe on the menu - maybe it's a michigan thing
Kinda like the speech problems most Bostonians have.
