We expect the government to take more intiatives at the same time implementing more reforms.
President U Thein Sein did discuss with British Prime Minister David Cameron about brain drain.
The worst brain drain started in 1962 as a result of BSPP policies.
You are worldly. Can you share knowledge with us. What happened to the scholars of early 1960s including the young teenager Crown Prince Shwebomin, grandson of Taunggoomin, direct line of Tharrawaddy or Thayarwaddy, who is actually Shwebomin I, as we understand history.
We heard that now Crown Prince Shwebomin is pressing for dual nstionality for all those scholars so that they could go home and help rebuild Burma.
Do you know why Shwebomin has not gone back to Burma?
We are researching on the lost generation of Shwebomin. Joseph Htoomyat Thu said nobody knows him in Burma. Yet, there are many websites about him. Burmese embasssy moles had informed us the he had been liaising with SPDC through the envoys since late 1988. Any credence in that?
